Once again, Joan and I headed up onto the Golf Course for an afternoon walk. We feel sorry for golfers who are not permitted to use the Golf Course due to pandemic restrictions, but we are enjoying the freedom of wandering there and enjoying its beauty. In one garden plot that we seldom visit, we were pleased to discover grape hyacinths in bloom.

Reversed lens with a No1 & 3 tube. Think this must be larger than 1-1. Focusing rack and tripod, where you have no focusing other than moving the camera backwards and forwards a `rack` is the only way forward for this type of capture.
Golf course from the air in Phoenix Arizona. This city of 1,5 million inhabitants is located in the northeastern reaches of the Sonoran Desert. It has the hottest climate of any major city in the United States. The average high temperatures are over 100°F (37.8°C) for three months out of the year, and have spiked over 120°F (48.9°C) on occasion. Phoenix and it's surroundings are home to more that 200 bright green golf courses surrounded by yellow and red desert.
