This rig is pretty far from home. It had a loud, badass engine though.
Outside of the two metropolitan areas of Omaha and Lincoln, vehicles are plated with a numerical prefix. based on their county's number of registered vehicles, roughly paralleling the population. In Nebraska, the county with the 76th most (out of 93) number of registered vehicles is Dundy county in the extreme SW part of the state, very close to the Kansas border and pretty close to Colorado (about 400 miles away). The burg of Benkelman is the county seat. And that seat is probably very dusty. Never been there, but it's probably a place where the kids drive around the two blocks of "downtown" constantly on Friday night.
In Omaha and Lincoln (the 1 and 2 counties), nearly every car is plated with a three-letter prefix with three numbers. You may see the odd 1- or 2- prefix, as that's still an option. Usually, though, that signifies a reactionary who don't like no change.
The County Sessions House stands at the bottom of Islington in Liverpool, Merseyside, England, to the east of the Walker Art Gallery. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building.
The courthouse was built between 1882 and 1884, and was designed by the Liverpool architects F & G Holme. It functioned as a local county courthouse, and contained three courtrooms, chambers for barristers and judges, cells, and facilities for administration. It is no longer used for these purposes.
The building is constructed in ashlar stone on a granite base. Although its appearance is Neoclassical, its style is described as being "late Victorian" and "derived from Renaissance Venice rather than ancient Greece and Rome". It is built in a single storey with a basement, and its front has five bays. The basement is rusticated. At its front is a portico with eight paired columns, above which is a frieze bearing the inscription "COUNTY SESSIONS HOUSE". The tympanum contains the arms of Lancashire County Council. The windows have round arches and are flanked by Ionic pilasters. At the sides, five bays have similar columns, beyond which the building is plainer, in yellow brick and stone. The interior is complex and richly decorated. It contains an Italian Renaissance staircase.
Offutt Cave. Well we decided to return to Offutt Cave and push the deceivingly deep pool(was waist deep at the edges) and climb the 20+ foot tall flow-stone. Wow.. just as much passage past the pool as before but, much less vandalism. Man what a beautiful cave.

Here's some shots we did for Derby County Football Club and escape Deign and Print for the stadium shop windows giant size.
DCFC gave us 2 images of the football players (not shot by mackney photography) and asked us and escape to come up with a stylish idea to make the shots more interesting and eye catching for the shop windows.
Mackney and escape went down to the stadium at 11.30pm one night in the week to capture the background stadium at night them photographed the rain and the sky the night after, we combined all the images together.
Hopefully next time we can have some time photographing the players flying through the air.
Seen here rounding Park Street, Luton circa 1972 is former Luton Corporation Dennis Loline / Neepsend FXD 181C, heading for Vauxhall Works on a Service 9 journey. The background view, especially to the right of the vehicle was to change considerably in the next couple of years with the construction of the town's Arndale Centre.

This set of photos are dedicated to Fay Price. She passed away last April after battling cancer for three years. She and her husband were not only the most hospitable landowners we have had the pleasure to deal with, they were just great people period. From telling us stories of how they use to explore the cave when they were younger (with great details), stories of the old Lynn farm and TVA, to offering to let us come into thier home and give us something to drink and warm up after exiting the frigid waters of the cave. We had but a brief moment to get to know Fay, but I know she will be missed by all who knew her.
This is the first dry room after spending 10 minutes in frigid water. My boys call this the apple tree formation.
Previously posted as my more recent "More Precarious" House or Falling in House. In the summer, it gets so grown around it, you can barely see the house or the mostly caved in roof.
This week, they mowed and pulled out the Airstream camper. They also opened up an upstairs window and had been throwing things out - but in preparation of what?
Probably burning it down. She's beyond help now. :(
