The concept of Broadview – Senior Living at Purchase College started taking shape in 2002. It serves the needs of a growing senior population in the greater Westchester County area. It is a one-of-a-kind senior living in Westchester, NY, with a unique “Learning Commons,” a space where residents and students can learn from each other over coffee. The initial phase of the proposed community will include 220 independent living apartments and villas for seniors ages 62 and older. A delegation from Ningbo, a seaport city of northeastern Zhejiang province, met with Morris County government officials Sept. 28 in Morristown. Morris County Freeholders Gene Feyl and Margaret Nordstrom hosted the group, which was interested in learning about how county governments function in the United States. Cardston County, Alberta - March 24, 2012
The Cullman County Sheriffs Office Jimmy Arrington Memorial Rodeo was a three day extravaganza with accompanying box office success. It was conducted on December 11, 12 and 13, 2015. It was held at the Cullman County Agricultural Trade Center on Highway 31 North in Cullman.
In addition to the two nights of rodeo action on Friday and Saturday, Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry, his command staff and a legion of volunteers held a rodeo event for Special Needs student from around the county on Thursday morning.
Over 900 students along with teachers, administrators, parents and support staff attend the Special Needs event.
One Friday evening an estimated crowd of 2,000 people attended the rodeo. On Saturday evening, a capacity audience pushing 2,300 stuffed the Trade Center to capacity.
The non-stop selection of activities, audience participation and top-level rodeo athletes in action over the course of 3 days made this one of the most well attended and most widely enjoyed events at the Agricultural Trade Center in recent memory.
