Seen here in Dunstable Road, Luton in 1985 is United Counties Bristol RE / ECW RBD 314G with a full capacity load heading for Luton Town Centre. The adverts on the side of the bus shelter, for kippers and fags illustrate the lengths advertising has changed in the last 30 years!
Scanned from an acquired slide.
Seen here in Aylesbury Market Place in the late 1970's is Leyland National RNV 477M operating on a town service. This vehicle later moved to Luton Depot and was painted in several liveries for the Railair Link between the Station and Airport until replaced by new Leyland Lynx in 1990.

Absolutely loved driving these Scania L94's, along with the L113's that we had at Ipswich. I paused here alongside the river at Manningtree for a quick photo on an early Saturday morning journey into Mistley from Ipswich. First Eastern Counties 65588 (V588DVF) Manningtree 22nd May 2004

Eastern Counties Chatteris outstation on Saturday 20 September 1975. VR404 has just reversed out ready to start its day's work and is still showing the previous evening's destination display on the blind. This was about to be changed to '353 March' for its Saturday morning's duty at 0730 Chatteris to March. The outstation, in Bridge Street, dates from 1930 and by the time of this photo just the one VR was allocated. It closed on 21 September 1980 but the outstation 'shed' still remains and is now used by Royale Tyres as a garage.
I remember passing by this farmhouse a couple times a day, when I rode the bus to school each morning, a little more than 40 years ago. Now it sits empty. Taken along County Road 8 in Washington County Ohio.
