The sun finally had come out, and I reproduced one of last week's simple successes: grilled surf and turf with shrimp and sirloin tips; grilled veggies.
...with roast potatoes and carrots; salad.
That's hot sauce over the chicken, not ketchup. We haven't gone totally off the cliff of klass, not yet.
(Er, but that is a puddle of ketchup next to my potatoes. If you know me, you know that's the way I like 'em!)

Pappardelle with chicken liver ragu from the freezer. This one included mushrooms, and was absolutely delicious!
(We ate this on the evening our friend died of liver cancer. Does that qualify as irony?)
