Rational iVario Pro is a new generation cooking unit that replaces almost all traditional cooking appliances. It looks just like a tilting pan, but it can do so much more. Basically, we can list the functions of the iVario cooking system as follows:

Ovens through the ages. I loved the way everything was so open and accessable, not kept behind rope.
Walking along the street, I suddenly heard a weird noise. I looked and saw it was just the sound of an electric cooker being dragged over the street.

This is my new cooker which I bought in January 2008. I somehow made the old one last until it became a barbecue;(Flames/smoke etc) so I was forced to buy a new one. - The oven on this one is fantastic!
After using the cooker, always turn all the knobs off, before turning the cooker off at the wall !!
My son in law had been grilling the night before. He turned the cooker off at the wall, but didn't turn the grill off.
On Christmas morning, my daughter turned the cooker on, while we prepared the turkey.
Suddenly she noticed smoke spewing from the cooker grill, and instinctively opened the grill to investigate. Flames sprang to life in the grill. Growing with ferocity and covering the front of the cooker.
My son in law dampened a bath towel in the sink and covered the cooker, smothering the flames.
Christmas dinner was a little later than planned, but no-one was hurt, and that's the important thing :o)
In the slow cooker ready for a good 8 hours on low. We ended up doing a couple of hours on high too.
I love the texture and colour of this old sign and the way that everything is worded. I also like the fact that it is still there! So many of these sort of things are removed or degrade with time and are lost forever.
