An accident in Plumstead High Street, near Plumstead station. This was a firm dealing in scrapping old cookers. There seemed to be a few mishaps with the lorries. There was another along the road a few months earlier.

The Ricoh Half take the left picture at first, but occidental use to read from left to right and I really find funny that it change the "sens" of the picture. It seems that I've been surprise while I've been taking the second picture, but in fact that woman was surprise of that strange thing that I hold in my hand name is Ricoh Auto Half at first. That cheapy camera give anothers dimension to photography. Love that feeling :)
Upon my arrival, found that someone had left the valve open. The surface temperature maxed out my thermometer at 125 degrees, but it was probably hotter. Needless to say, I stayed out of this one. I tried to turn the valve off, but it was submerged under a foot of scalding water and my hand couldn't take the heat! If you make it out here, please remember to shut the hot water valve off when you leave because these tubs heat up fast but take a very long time to cool.
Another Blue Note release, The Cooker (1958) was bebop trumpeter Lee Morgan's 7th album (at only 19 years old!), and his first with only original, self-penned tunes. As expected, the photo was taken by Francis Wolff, and the cover design by Reid Miles.
This looks more orange than the red I have typically seen, but I expect that it may have been released several times, with slightly varying colors.
