The Chinese Cook-Off was held at Hy-Vee on Waterfront Nov. 2, 2012. Contestants provided short demonstration/information about their traditional Chines dish and then provided samples to attendees, who voted by secret ballot on the winners for honors and prizes.

Camped overnight at High Creek. Paper blankets used to reduce load carried as it was scheduled as a return trip via Mt. San Bernardino. Only 5 0r 6 people complete the trip as scheduled.
