Cardamon flavored spongy dumpling saturated in a thickened milk sauce

The rather embarrassing statue of "Cook" on top of Titirangi Hill, Kaiti, Gisborne. The statue is due to be removed, partly due to post-colonial sensitivity, and partly no doubt due to its completely discredited provenance, as the plaque explains:
