Captain James Cook was a famous British explorer. He visited Vancouver Island on this third voyage to the Pacific Ocean.

One of the ranching women from neighbouring ranches who work at the Center. Lee is the cook at the Bunkhouse!

This is my collection of glass measures, mainly pharmacists' but a few for cooking. And it is a good use of space in one of our oddly shaped top floor windows.

I used a nikon d60 with a nikkor 24-70 2.8 lens

 

ISO between 800 - 1600, f2.8, Shutter at 1/125 - 1/250 - auto exposure - Manual Mode

 

Distance was about 150 ft from stage with extremely low lighting conditions

 

for the whole concert...

The meat mixture pressed into a casserole dish and ready to be shoved in the oven. Having a large dish like this one (8x11") made for a fairly thin loaf, which was perfect for making the strips of meat you typically get at a restaurant.

Bodo and the oarsman are also great cooks
