We have these microwave machines at work. When you want to warm anything up, you need to press this button labeled "time cook".

Well, every time I see it, I have a very particular image in my head.

I was given a goose egg and some chicken eggs today - the goose egg is massive! (correction, *was* massive).

 

I took some food pics to try and capture this as I'm probably not going to have another one for quite some time!

A lot of steam and heat coming out of here, this is merely my best attempt, didn't really get it right...

 

My yearly trek to the Calgary Stampede on Tuesday... Definitely a hot day... On Wednesday, a day later, temperature rose from 27 C up to 33 C!

The bottom is a little overdone.

On our way up to Mount Cook by road we turned a corner and this was the sudden view. Breathtaking. The lake is glacier fed so is apparently always this colour. And there's a "long white cloud" through the middle too. We were lucky with the weather again! Pic was taken by Herself.
