So it might not have been Turkey Day but i was in the mood to cook one. This was my first solo attempt without my father and i would say that i did a good job.
Gorgeous metal statue that imitates wooden logs perfectly. These past four statues blow me away with the artistry and dedication required to create something so beautiful.
On the way to our hotel in the Sacred Valley our group stopped for lunch. This is one of the people who prepared our buffet.
I don't cook much at home, but today I decided too. it all started with some fresh mushrooms I had and some giant red pepper, from there went the butter, season salt, and Oregano. And then I thought this looks good, but thought I love rice so much I thought why not add some Fiesta Corn Rice. Yummy! And for final touch I added some microwaves pizza rolls. Wah Lah. All for under $5.00

because i have two sisters, whenever i see asian brands with "three sisters" (there is a rice brand with this name) or "three lady cooks" i am amused. i was also tickled to find that i could sound out the words on this box and comprehend it. "ngon het say!" translates to "tasty! that's great!"

This was for a head cook in a local school who was retireing. A friend of mine works there and i have had quite a lot of work from the staff there and word has got about! There were many staff milling around when i delivered it to catch a look at the latest cake!!! I was told that when one of the other members of kitchen staff was called in to look at the cake she cried!! It seems they were al fascinated by the broken egg!!
So, a good response!!!
All ittems edible.......still cant get to grips with hands and fingers!!!
