"Ordered new in Belgium by its Canadian first owner whilst serving in the military. Believed to have then lived in Canada for a while, eventually returning to Belgium and finally on to the UK in 2010. The vendor purchased the car from the original owner. Complete with service book and owner's manual. The car is described as being in very good condition having been garaged for most of its life. 99,000 KM (61,000 miles) from new.

This is a 1981 Global Coach/Innsbrook Manufacturing Chrysler Cordoba. They made about 200 between the Cordoba, Mirada and Imperial. And obviously, this is a real convertible. And I'm willing to bet it's one of the nicest ones left.

Convertible Car by TTI 'Teddy Toy' of Stoke-on-Trent. This one has solid metal wheels with stub axles attached. See the albums this one is in for other TTI items.
Given the style of toolmaking, paint, text reading 'Made in England', geographic proximity and similarity of wheels of this type, I suspect the TTI cars and locomotive may possibly have been made by Toy Products of Walsall.
I also have this in green and blue, the other two have plastic wheels on full-width axles.

Although I would love to join the ranks of 'daft mates' and own a bus, Ms. W has deemed me not to. However, lots of hours at work and the summer heading our way has prompted 'us' to by a convertible motor vehicle! Seen on the front lawn before fitting new number plates. Roll on summer!
This 1959 Cadillac convertible is one of the 1,929 vehicles which participated in the Atlantic Nationals car show at Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada between July 7 and July 10, 2011. It is owned in Miramichi, New Brunswick.

The Duesenberg Model J made its sensational debut in December 1928, at the New York Auto Salon. Built in Indianapolis, the massive car combined unprecedented performance with new heights of grandeur and elegance. The chassis alone was priced at $8,500. Adding custom coachwork from a top coach-builder could easily double the cost.
The Model J’s 420 cubic-inch inline eight-cylinder had dual overhead camshafts and was rated at 265-horsepower. Other specs include a three-speed manual transmission and four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes. Depending on body type, the car was capable of speeds up to 115 miles per hour. The first completed Model J was delivered in May 1929, barely five months before “Black Tuesday”. Even in the depths of the ensuing economic depression, the mighty Duesenberg stood fast as a paragon of prosperity. Duesenberg originally procured sufficient components to build 500 Model J chassis. The final Model J-based unit, produced in 1937, would be assembled from those, by then, nearly depleted stocks.
This featured Duesenberg, a 142-inch wheelbase example, was originally delivered in August 1930, to E.B. Henry of Detroit. Its handsome convertible sedan body was designed and crafted by the Walter M. Murphy Company, of Pasadena, California. Mr. Henry retained his Duesenberg for 16 years before selling it to a Los Angeles resident. Subsequent owners included two Hollywood enthusiasts. By the late 1970’s, the car had joined the Imperial Palace Collection in Las Vegas. Prior to the acquisition by the current owner, it had been part of the late John O’Quinn’s collection.
