The new control room looking pristine. There is much more of it than this photo shows - the photographer must be standing near the supervisor's desk in the middle of the room.
When I arrived here in 1992, the Chief Engineer had his office, and various design staff had their open-plan desks, crowded here in the control room. The lovely parquet floor had been devastated by the stiletto heels of the Chief Engineer's secretary in the 1960's. The control room was crowded with desks, vast arrays of filing cabinets, the photocopier, printer and fax machine. Even in those days some of the desks had computers, so there were power and network cables pinned to the floor.
The female Pholcus phalangioides has hung the former eggsack onto the ceiling and gently moves it so that the spiderlings get motivated to leave it.

Funny story I found a comic shop that would buy my hero clix from me! I new they were worth some cash but damm! I got 500 bucks in credit! picked up alot of the ddp comics for the gi joe runs been reading em! got this batcave complete which will be the cobra coils new base! as well i got two playsets of the brave starr but they seem way to big for the joes a shame cause there awesome! I might have to ebay them if no one want em! :)

Launched in 1944, the Becuna (SS-319) completed five wartime patrols in the Pacific Ocean. Becuna is similar to many submarines built in Philadelphia for the U.S. Navy.
Becuna is a BALAO-class submarine built in New London, CT. During World War II, "Becky" prowled the Pacific Ocean for Japanese ships, and is credited with sinking 3.5 Japanese merchant ships. Converted in 1951 to a Guppy 1A type with sophisticated radar and torpedo equipment including nuclear warheads, she is the only Guppy 1-A submarine on display.

The revolutionary design was derived from extensive hydrodynamic and wind tunnel testing, with an emphasis on underwater speed and maneuverability.
