The poster illustrates a controversial issue in the US, gun control in schools.
This controversy started when the current head of state announced that he is considering a proposal to provide firearms to teachers as a measure to prevent school shootings.
Measures to prevent armed violence in schools should focus on educating children and parents about the dangers of firearms and the importance of safe storage, rather than arming teachers, as in some schools.
There is no credible statistical evidence to suggest that students with weapons, particularly concealed pistols, reduce violence in colleges. Rather, the evidence suggests that permitted firearms often increase crime and put students at risk. Allowing guns in colleges would likely lead to more homicides and suicides on campus.
