This image forms part of the digitised photographs of the Ross and Pat Craig Collection. Ross Craig (1926-2012) was a local historian born in Stockton and dedicated much of his life promoting and conserving the history of Stockton, NSW. He possessed a wealth of knowledge about the suburb and was a founding member of the Stockton Historical Society and co-editor of its magazine. Pat Craig supported her husband’s passion for history, and together they made a great contribution to the Stockton and Newcastle communities. We thank the Craig Family and Stockton Historical Society who have kindly given Cultural Collections at the University of Newcastle, NSW, Australia, access to the collection and allowed us to publish the images. Thanks also to Vera Deacon for her liaison in attaining this important collection.

After three years of work, the EU funded Contract project came to an end. The final review came really positive, with the highest mark.
As always, a project comes with its share of bad moments, but it feels good when closure comes in a good way.

Al entrar a Interbaby encontramos una recepción austera, pero potente visualmente hablando.
Un mostrador de nogal americano de 3 metros nos da la bienvenida y, como fondo, una fotografía retroiluminada de las mismas dimensiones, que baña de luz el espacio. La fotografía hace alusión directa al producto que vende la empresa, de manera que esa imagen de marca sea la parte importante de la zona de recepción.

The U.S. Army Contracting Command Best Warrior Competition took place June 5-9 at Joint Base San Antonio-Camp Bullis, Texas.
November 13, 2013 Giant members authorized the Local 400 union leadership to call a strike if necessary. The contract has been extended until Dec 20th as the company and union sit back down at the bargaining table.
I really enjoyed doing this first contract, I wanted to use my favorite water (sparkling water) and I wanted to give myself the challenge of working with a can that is extremely reflective. I kept to a simple white background for all of them. The strobe images did not get edited, but the natural and constant light had to be edited to neutralize the yellow tone. I played around with the silver reflector to change the shadow of the can and where the majority of the light is on the can. For the constant light shots, I used my strobe light on its constant setting on the camera left as well as playing around with my camera's light too. For the strobe shots, I used two strobe lights on each side as well as the silver reflector.
