The continuation of a series of 8 "Brocade" images exploring the use of Pano-Sabotage in extremely complex visual statements.
My personal goal as an artist is to push beyond what I've done myself and to explore new territory in various media and styles. It's virtually impossible for me to sit still on one thing forever. Eventually, when I feel that I've done all I can with a style or medium, I move on. It's not unusual to come back to these places with fresh views though, so I see things more as a spiral than a straight line.

(This is a continuation of a chronological sampling of my marathon "last" journey in my Sportsmobile, showing a few shots taken along the way.) After leaving the bird refuge in Utah my plan was to drive through Grand Teton and spend a couple of days in Yellowstone. I camped somewhere along the way arriving at the Tetons before the sun came up. I stopped at Oxbow Bend and caught this sunrise before attempting to enter the eastern entrance of Yellowstone. The entrance was open but the road was closed further ahead. I doubled back to Jackson and took Teton Pass, Highway 22 from Wilson. It was a beautiful drive and I caught a young male moose before getting to highway 22. It's such beautiful country out there just driving through it is worthwhile.

Wanna Buy Me A Coffee?
Slightly autumnal photograph of the 4399GT replica sitting in the paddock at Goodwood.
This car is apparently built using a 330 chassis, and constructed as a faithful reproduction of the car Graham Hill drive at Goodwood in 1963 (the actual car is now that Bamford owned and raced 250/64 also seen at Goodwood).
Having spent some time looking over the car, its attention to detail is impressive, with the car having a worn patina that belies its non-original age.

(Continuation. Please see the texts of the earliest images of this series – my “letters from the other side”).
I keep working on my own freedom and inner peace. Doing the 1st from the early childhood and the 2nd at least from my hippie years (in which I didn’t considered myself as a hippie, more rather as a human being, but others did), and it’s still not enough. Meantime, freedom, peace, creativity, artful life and sharp sense of humour & self-irony seems must-have for me to return my human life. Which is currently stolen by my state and wanted. Deeply.
Also, I feel closer bond with the great American beatnik culture, that I grew up on (and still growing). It was beat the disgraceful Vietnam war, we’re now trying to beat the disgraceful Ukrainian war.
And also, sometimes I couldn’t keep up with your beautiful comments and drop by every page, when you’re faving my humble art. Though I really need them to keep going. I feel guilty about that. I’m doing it, backwards, to the deeper past, but sometimes too slow… Really don’t know what to do about that. What you could tell me about that?
The same thing with arts. My beautiful friend Irinka, when I posted the previous photo on insta, asked me, could I make some more from this photo-series. Which I did, and I’m glad. And joy is one more must-have ingredient in this quest. We mustn’t let them rob us of our joy and taste of life.
To be continued…

This photo captures Thailand's country side; as we drifted along the country roads humming something like this:
Original Lyrics John Denver.... but modified for the occasion.. Sorry John.
Almost heaven, Saraburi
Blue ridge mountains, Muak Lek river
Life is old there, older than the trees
Younger than the mountains, blowing like a breeze
Country roads, take me home
To the place, I be-long
Saraburi, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads
All my memories, gather round her
Miners lady, stranger to blue water
Dark and dusty, painted on the sky
Misty taste of mekong, teardrop in my eye
Country roads, take me home
To the place, I be-long
Saraburi, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads
I hear her voice, in the mornin hours she calls to me
The radio reminds me of my home far a-way
And drivin down the road I get a feeling
That I should have been home yesterday, yesterday
Country roads, take me home
To the place, I be-long
Saraburi, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads

Not much of a story today, but I wanted to show you a glimpse of the beauty of Salvador, Bahia. At the time i wasn't taking pictures to show other people. I would have composed this much definitely, but this will have to do. The city has such wonderful old world charm mixed in with a hint of African life. This is one port where I wish we would have stayed loner. I believe that we were there for only two days!
Speaking of Africa, I will be leaving soon for that continent. Don't worry about me telling the world. Someone comes to house sit in my VERY humble abode.
Returning back to my pears and promise this is the last image in the "story"

Transiting the spectacular area of Chile where glaciers framed the landscape was one of the highlights of the cruise. There was an enclosed observation deck where one could stay warm while watching the stunning show that nature created. It was mesmerizing.
Luckily I wandered out onto the deck from time to time to take a few pictures. It was a time to leave all of the nonsense and drama that humans create behind and gaze upon the spectacle called nature.
This is the probably the last time I will ever experience such bitter cold and the last time I will ever see ice. My body is just too climatized to warm weather so these memories are quite special to me.
This is the third shot I've posted of the Ferrari 250 GTO recreation (buit on the chassis of a ferrari 330), this time its in the assembly area and the man talking to the driver is non-other than the man who makes the Revival possible, Lord March. The discussion taking place may have been about anything, but I like to think it is Lord March getting a few last minute pointers on how best to pilot the Ferrrari around the Goodwood circuit when your passenger is going to be the legend that is Sir Stirling Moss.
Shortly after this shot was taken, Lord March did indeed get behind the wheel and take to the track with Sir Stirling Moss alongside, although with his penchant for spotting 'crumpet' maybe Sir Stirling Moss was too occupied to pass comment on his chauffeur for the day.

Here is another of the Graham Hill Ferrari 250 GTO Recreation that was built on the chassis of a Ferrari 330, and made to look identical to the car the Graham raced back in 1963 at Goodwood.

This is in continuation of my earlier post of the Jahaz Mahal Complex of Mandu. To the extreme right is the Jahaz Mahal and you can also see the ruins of the Royal Palace at the center and the Jal Mahal (Water Palace) to the left. Here you can also see one of the artificial lakes which gave the Jahaz Mahal or Ship Palace its name. When the lakes on both sides of the palace were full during the Monsoons it gave the appearance of floating on water especially when lighted up with flares at night. What a sight that must have been.
Mandu is a ruined fort city at an elevation of just over 2000 feet in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is situated on a rocky outcrop of the Malwa Plateau and commands breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.
It was probably founded in the 6th century B.C and was ruled by the Paramars (a Rajput clan) until they were defeated by Muslim invaders in the 14th century. Mandu , which became the capital of the powerful central Indian kingdom of Malwa ,reached its zenith under Hoshang Shah who ruled from 1405 - 34.It suffered a decline after the advent of the Mughals in India and was subsequently conquered by them in the 16th century. The Marathas captured Mandu in 1732 after which it remained part of the territories of the Pawars of Dhar.
Mandu is famous for the story of Baz Bahadur (1551-61) ,a Muslim ruler of the Muzaffarid Dynasty and his Hindu Rajput queen ,Rupmati. It was during the reign of Baz Bahadur that the Mughals captured Mandu.
