V2 of my boba fett moc based on the constraction set released in 2018. I've spent way too much time on this and there are still aspects i'm not perfectly satisfied with, but at this point it's just me perfectionist side working against me

He strikes from the shadows!
The six Toa Metru returned to the city of Metru Nui, intending to save the sleeping Matoran and bring them to their new home. Ambushed by Visorak spiders, the Toa Metru are mutated into Hordika ... half Toa, half beast! Can they overcome their new enemies and their own bestial natures in time to rescue the Matoran?
Toa Hordika Whenua has seen the Archives shattered and beasts of every kind released on Metru Nui. Now he must fight to save the Rahi from extinction. His tools can summon beasts from far underground, or charge up his Rhotuka earth spinner.
The Sydney harbour bridge is a huge constraction and in this black and white photograph it can be seen how much bigger it is compared to people.
These six characters are my re-imaginings of BIONICLE’s very first heroes, the 2001 Toa: Onua, Kopaka, Tahu, Gali, Pohatu and Lewa. I chose to tackle these builds in standard LEGO plates and bricks, rather than in “constraction” elements, to enter them in the BIONICastle contest; they're BIONICLE figures made out of "castle" pieces!

As spring soars into summer, if you look just right, you may spot this fabled spirit as it brings the rose bushes to bloom.
Spent the last month on and off (mostly off tbh) on this. I wanted to do more with the flowers, but we ran out of all of our red stud flowers and after three bricklink orders and a trip to our local Bricks and Minifigs, I was pretty done spending money on it. There are always things I can sit and nitpick about my own builds, but I'm pretty content with how this turned out. Though I really need to stop building things that don't fit into my lightbox.
This is a quick MOC that grew from a concept I had for my Bricks Cascade trophies. The idea was to represent how modern LEGO has grown from a foundation that BIONICLE helped lay. But the concept builds I did quickly grew too big and delicate for trophies, so I decided to go a different direction.

More Bionicle characters because i can't think of a good name, inspired by the works of Buttloaf and using a modified version of a torso design by Vicent Steffens. Big fan of the mismatched Piraka arms and I wanted to do something similar here. Also wanted to use HF1.0 limbs because I got tired of hearing (and believing) that they were useless.

Phazon Suit acquired!
The Varia suit has been infused with pure Phazon. This corruption prevents damage from Phazon radiation.

This build has been a long time coming. I started her with trying out a helmet back in early 2020 based on a design by Sparks, but kept putting the work in progress on back burner due to a lot of tricky parts to it, and wanting to really do justice to a Samus MOC. With BrickFair VA 2022 imminent, it was finally time to wrap things up!

This is Buzzsaw, Nemesis of Rocka by Ems_Mocs
Zapped from planet Slizer into another world through mysterious circumstances, the Buzzsaw Slizer has found itself surrounded by beings made of a an alien compound known as CCBS. With its two massive saws and recent electro-pulse coil upgrades from the evil Von Nebula, the BuzzSaw Slizer wreaks havoc in Makuhero City, returning the world to an older, more classic form of constraction. Can Rocka stop its rampage? It may not look like it, but the Buzzsaw Slizer loves hugs.
Von Nebula has obtained the blueprints for the Makuhero City Hero Factory facility, and he has recruited his own army of Villains. Now they are getting more dangerous in his new structure!
New heroes are ready to face them and each of them targets a specific villain, their NEMESIS!

This MOC was inspired by a little theory of mine: what if Ravager's sentient Sword and Shield were in fact cursed weapons that had transformed him into an ideal host?
Perhaps that might explain why Ravager lost his memory, had those destructive urges, and why it was hard for TSO to find another like him.
Maybe this is what he turns into when they're fed enough...

Hakann had a knack for being in the centre of every conflict, constantly making risky maneuvres, sabotaging alliances, and neglecting his own safety. One of Bionicle's 'Chaotic Stupids' for sure!
I aimed to capture this manic, destructive nature with his oversized shotgun & shells, exposed chest, spiked armour, and of course that manic grin, which I felt the helmet accentuated.

Hakann smiled. Then he stared hard at the Kikanalo for a few seconds. Crimson bolts of energy erupted from his forehead and struck the Rahi, completely obliterating them. All that was left was a few wisps of smoke.
“And now,” Hakann said, satisfied, “they are not even that.”
“Why – why did you do that?” Balta sputtered, stunned. “They were no threat to anyone!”
“They were blocking my view.” Hakann replied casually.
Once a feared warlord, Iiktunn's pride was his downfall. The Grappler of The Pit was a feared being for those who could not escape his grasp often met a gruesome fate worse than death.
Dipping my toes back into the Bionicle community. Build started out with the Galidor Ooni head and the HF 1.0 armor as a backplate and went from there.
Special thanks to Sarahtonin for the help in getting me to build some more constraction stuff after years of being away from it all.
I wanted to create some kind of cyberpunk ninja character when I started building this. I tried several color combos, but it didn't really work until I tried this gun metal, black, red combo.
The proportions were harder than I thought. The Allegra Galidor head is a bit smaller than the Constraction heads so the standard armor parts don't really work.
Anyway, I'm very pleased with the result, and that I found a use for the scala swimsuit! :)

An ancient and spirited guardian, Jayfa has been protecting his family for centuries. Only called upon when the need is dire, he finds himself summoned once again to offer protection as the last of his lineage goes out into the world.
Constraction rendition of the suit from the 2008 film. The other day I was fiddling around with gold system parts, got a decent helmet design and figured, why not design the whole suit too? The inspiration for this torso design began by trying to design the Mark III in LDD back in 2014, so I'd say the project is finally complete. The red is edited to appear closer to dark red and the neck appears short due to the camera angle, but in person, it looks proportionate.

Happy Throwvember, though this guy was finished a couple months earlier. Was inspired by MSEP's really cool Slizer revamps and had to try doing one myself. This build was also an exercise in using non socket joints, something I'm trying to get better at.

As the Vessel of Gaar's spirit, Ahi has the ability to call upon Gaar's power. When at full power, Ahi's mask turns gold, and he gains Gaar's six celestial wings and with them, the power of flight. Is this enough to defeat Diaa?
Korero was a librarian working in Ko-Koro, meticulously organizing and re-organizing the shelves according to a system only he understood. Over time he gained a reputation for pestering Akaku-wearing colleagues to swap masks.
