I took this at London Zoo, as you can see the tiger was looking right into my lense. There was almost a connection between us...kind of ;-)

Do you remember the shots I posted of the three Amur Tiger cubs, born at Potter Park Zoo last September?
I thought you'd like to see how big they are getting now. Here's my girlfriend Chris, (you all know her on flickr as Ladydragonflyycc), as she connected with one of the cubs through the glass. I was doing a nocturnal encounters tour/outreach last night for a boy scout troop camping overnight at the zoo, and talked Chris into coming along to watch.

Not the best of developments, rather dark strips came out of the tank.
No problem "saving" the result though, exposure and levels with modest adjustments.

This photo of a Delta Connection (Comair) CRJ was taken in Columbus. Sadly about 3 hours prior another Comair CRJ crashed in Lexington, KY killing 49 souls.
I show this CRJ N976CA was delivered to Comair 12/18/96, but is now stored in CVG and is no longer flying.
Since the floor was raised by 3cm, had to do some new fittings. That, plus a slightly thicker pipe on the toilet meant a few attempts to get this right. Also a closeup of the new flexible fitting.

Here is two days after the connection detail was made to tie in the remesh blocks securely to the foundation beam. Thsi small ferrocement detail was covered with a bentonite and water paste with some PVA fibers added to make it somewhat brushable. This bentonite fill of goo helps seal in the moisture for a good cure and the cloth was used to make sure this vulnerable detail stays wet.
I need my car to get me from home to work and recently my car had major engine problems.and has had to be replaced.
Well here is my new car - the next version of the Alfa Romeo I had before. The Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
This is my connection between work and home. I spend 10-12 hours a week in the car - so I have to love it.
The 147 was my first Alfa and I definitely feel a connection with Alfas - I love them.
Definitely a dila it in day.
