Over 1,000 Salem-Keizer high school students practiced job interview skills and got feedback from local business leaders at Career Connections on March 21, 2017, at the Salem Convention Center. The annual career training for students is a partnership between Salem Area Chamber of Commerce, Keizer Chamber and Salem-Keizer Public Schools.

Memory Games is a popular piece of artwork featured on both the Clockwork Gallery and Gallerisation web sites.
Memory Games shows the projection of an imaginary underground system that displays computer and console games as the stations rather than the more usual geographical place names. This piece was designed to represent the world as a uniform place, where people from all around the globe have participated in playing the same games as each other. This makes us more alike than we possibly imagine, and without delving too deeply into politics begs the question; if we play together, why do we fight?
Memory Games is part of the Underground series of imagery designed by Chris Gray. This series examines aspects of human interaction and communication based on the way that mankind has developed connections. This ability is one of the corner stones of our success as a species. Underground explores various aspects of our world and how we associate with it.
Nearly 400 sophomores met with 125 alumni for career conversations during Sophomore Connections, January 15–17, 2015.
Ironically, Rick Wakeman's "No Earthly Connection" was one of the first albums I have ever heard. I think I was in the first or second grade. This has altered my musical tastes, I'm afraid, forever.

"Dougherty County School System employs approximately 2,500 people in 36 locations throughout the county. We deployed the intranet in February and have had a fantastic response!
Also, I can't say enough about the support and responsiveness of the staff at Intranet Connections. They have been great throughout the entire process. They devote as much time and attention to the smallest question as they do to the big technical issues. Thanks to everyone at IC for helping make our first intranet a big success!"

This scene recreates te opening of the first movie of the Muppets "The Muppet Movie" from 1979.
This is my own original creation, inspired by my affection for the Muppets.
Built over a period of one and a half years using thousands of parts. The exact number of parts: I don't know.
Total height is 56 cm.
Kermit is built using mainly Bright Green pieces wich I now dub "Kermit Green". Regular Green would have been too dark.
Though Bright Green is the perfect shade of green for Kermit it has the disadvantage that is not a much used colour in LEGO sets so getting it in large quantities was one of the challenges for this project.
Another challenge was getting the right rounded shapes of Kermit's head and body. A lot of SNOT techniques were used to accomplish this.
Other features include posable hands, a water lily and a banjo.
To ensure that Kermit is firmly attached to the log and cannot fall off, I devised a special locking mechanism. To release Kermit press on his belly, just behind his banjo. This will release a pin in his back which you can then pull out. Then Kermit can be lifted off his log. To attach him back to his log just set him back an re-insert the pin fully. The pin will then fit seamlessly and invisibly.
Everything is 100% original LEGO. Even the strings on the banjo.
There are no building instructions yet, but if enough people are interested I can make them. Just let me know.

I didn't even know it had this feature until after I got the car home. USB connection in the dashboard cubby. Allows you to browse the audio contents of a USB device from the head unit. I'm using it with my iPod nano, but the manual says it'll work with a standard USB thumb drive too.
