Les jeunes mâles aigrettes, comme pour la plupart des espèces, mesurent leur force dans des jeux où ils se confrontent. C'est le cas sur cette image où deux jeunes "adolescents" se chamaillent dans un combat simulé. Photo prise au Venezuela dans les lianos.
Young male egrets, like most species, measure their strength in confrontational games. This is the case in this image, where two young are squabbling in a mock fight. Photo taken in Venezuela among the lianos.
These two swallows were flying around, one chasing the other. They'd come together, then one would break off and the other would chase. Not sharp - shutter speed too slow, but I wasn't set up for flight at the time. But, I like the abstract motion look to it, so posting anyway.
Hatari swoops down from the left as the Golden Ronin bounds in from the right - on a collision course for a battle of epic proportions...
Time to start brining my original cast back to play now for #DeanStudios Cyberpunk photo contest (although technically I'm not sure if these guys fit into the cyberpunk classification or not -- still high tech fun characters to place in the world regardless)

The lion (Panthera leo) is a species in the cat family (Felidae). The lion is sexually dimorphic; males are larger than females with a typical weight range of 150 to 250 kg (331 to 551 lb) for the former and 120 to 182 kg (265 to 401 lb) for the latter. Male lions have a prominent mane, which is the most recognizable feature of the species.
A lion pride consists of a few adult males, related females and cubs. Groups of female lions typically hunt together, preying mostly on large ungulates. The species is an apex and keystone predator, although they scavenge when opportunities occur.
Typically, the lion inhabits grasslands and savannas but is absent in dense forests. It is usually more diurnal than other big cats, but when persecuted it adapts to being active at night and at twilight.
It has been listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List since 1996 because populations in African countries have declined by about 43% since the early 1990s. Habitat loss and conflicts with humans are the greatest causes for concern. – Wikipedia

Rudovous fotil Boží muka o pár kilometrů severněji, ale jsou asi od stejného autora. Z možných záběrů jsem vybral ten, kde je nejvíce aut. K atomové elektrárně se to hodí. Helios není žádný machr přes oblohy, stejně tak sonnar. Naopak je vynikající kreslič na omítce stavby. Můj staronový pentacon a pancolar jsou naopak velmi dobří v oblohách a teplotě podání. Foceno stařičkým pentaxem k-x, kterého jsem chtěl darovat chudým, neudělám to. Jako 12 mpx odvádí skvělou práci. Hledáček ale má tak debilní, že vše fotím poslepu.

AAW January 23 - 30: In the Style of Lucien Hervé
WIT: Luckily (or not), I had to go into the city for a dentist appointment. So I had the opportunity to take some pictures of the buildings of modern architecture, which Hervé appears to shoot. The building to the left is part of the Royal Ontario Museum, the Michael Chin Crystal. I liked the juxtaposition with the building across the street, which looks like a black-and-white Rubik's Cube.
I will share a series of photos that I shot during the inuaguration weekend, documenting the protests and the women's march. I am thrilled and honored that eight of my photos are in the photo book UnPresidented, which was recently released and is available on Amazon!

This stag and his herd were on the move, and our observation post seems to have been a bit too close to their chosen path, so he came forward to genrly signal us to move back. We executed right away of course !
