It's midnight and we have finally finished our negotiations on the agreed conclusions of the 60th Commission on the Status of Women. Along with Canada and Iceland, we noted our reservations with the rigid definition of family in the final text, along with the lack of address regarding discrimination and violence based on sexual orientation and gender identity. We also acknowledged those delegations that refused to engage in constructive discussions around these issues. No one got everything they wanted, but we scrutinised every word. ‪#‎CSW60‬ ‪#‎ItIsSoDecided‬
The Sonoran Desert's biannual rainy season makes it the desert with the most plant biodiversity in the world, which supports a wide variety of animals. In response to the rest of the harsh conditions of the desert, namely, intense heat and sunlight, the flora and fauna of the area have developed survival tactics.

Some participants present their conclusions and proposals on the most appropriate anticipatory actions for their community during the wrap up of the brainstorming session with the agroclimatic technical committee. The Mesas Técnicas Agroclimáticas (MTA) are a space for dialogue involving local authorities, scientists, technicians, farmers, etc. generating recommendations in the form of bulletins and early warning messages to reduce risks associated with forecast climate variability or stresses and shocks. This discussion as part of the CEAA pilot aimed to strengthen early warning systems related to the MTA in alignment with the seasonal calendar and crisis timeline defined specifically for Ojo de Agua.
