Concentration camp Birkenau. A subsidiary of Auschwitz.
The prisoners were kept in the barracks at the left. They were destroyed after the war. Just the chimneys were left. This is not the whole camp. At the opposite side (on photographer's back) there was a women part.
In this photo it also has unity or figure ground with how the image is laid out. The concert for this photo is also part of my concentration using the color powder to frame the girls face. we did re-shoot this and edit it.
Theresienstadt concentration camp (often referred to as Terezín) was a Nazi German ghetto during World War II. It was established by the Gestapo in the fortress and garrison city of Terezín (German name Theresienstadt), located in what is now the Czech Republic.
This coke image is one of my all-time favorites considering that I took it in photo one when I was first experimenting with advertisement photography. I created this image by getting a coke and putting it in the sand orienting it to have the sunset in the background to illuminate the coke and complement the colors. I also splashed water and sand on it to give the image a more complex composition. This fits really well into my concentration because of the vast array of warm colors that all compliment each other. While taking this I tried multiple concepts and none of them turned out as good as this one.
A small Russian Orthodox Chapel, named "Resurrection of our Lord," is located just to the left of the tourist entrance into the crematoria area at the Dachau Memorial Site. It was built by members of the Russian armed forces and was dedicated on April 29, 1995, the 50ieth anniversary of the liberation of the Dachau concentration camp.

Graphite 11x12
For this piece I attempted to make it a bigger concentration, to fill most of the page therefore there would not be too much empty space. Usually I don't attempt at graphite in my pieces, but I am trying to expand my variation of mediums.
Ink and colored pencils
Things in the ocean, it’s kind of boring, but it does look nice
If I can think of another idea to do for a concentration I’m thinking of switching it out

It may not come as a surprise to all of you, but it just occurred to me that I'm quite possibly the dumbest person on Flickr. When I was processing this photo of Charlie the thing that jumped out at me is her obvious concentration as she prepared for my jump countdown. She had wheels turning in her brain that don't exist in mine. So if I give you a blank stare when you ask "is that a digital or film camera?" don't judge me harshly.

Day 2 at the 2010 Iowa State Fair. I didn't stay too long this morning, it started looking like rain so I left early.
I took this photo as a test shot before we added the film around her face for my final concentration photo, and this turned out great.

The responses were of serious concern and concentration as my friends stood on a bluff overlooking the historic city of Toledo, Spain. Missionary Gary Sones was speaking of the Spanish Inquisition, and of its influence on Christianity, directing our attention across the canyon to the very buildings from which these orders were issued.
Critiques welcome.
