We hung out with my friends Marisol and Erno. Marisol is making a CD of her choir, and we're listening to other CD's and drinking beer as well.

A 40-year-old computer at the Computer History Museum.

Computer generated graphity. High colorosity.

I have the worst-ever computer virus. After hours and hours of work with my server over the last 2 days I thought it was gone. But it's not!

Some people in my hotmail address book have also received bogus emails from me. I feel terrible about this.

Who knows when I'll be able to load photos from my camera onto my hard drive again? These are images of stained glass are old ones.

Rusty says she's afraid she will miss "Sundays With Rusty" this week but we'll post as soon as this mess gets sorted.

Much love and thanks to Carmen, cats and kids who sent Easter gifts!

My god! What a tacky computer mouse! Not only has it got fake diamonds but when plugged in there are LEDs that light up. Apparently this is "What Women Want". Yeah, right.

Blake Bonkowski - I hate using SAIL and Moodle.

You can't change your name in the system, and it's embarrassing every time I sign in and see my birth name.

I just want to be able to make posts on Moodle without outing myself, or to check my grades in front of other people.

Neat macro shot of the keyboard and chin of my iMac.

Help i'm being pinned doen by this 15lb cat. He is lying on both my arms...

Elegant Home Computer Desk

my computer really is a piece of shit.

The arrow keys are a bit weird like this, but the shift key is in the "right" position now. And getting used to weird arrow keys is way easier than getting used to a shift key in the wrong place.

This business card is mainly targeted to friends and communicates directly the technician's role for his clients: not to mind about their computer's issues. This process is depicted on the back of the card in simple steps whereas on the front the offered services are listed. Finally, the technician's face on the back adds a humorous and a more personalised perspective to the business card.

A thrilling play.

Beer is spilled on keyboard.

Keys stick and cease functioning, but, fortunately, computer's innards and motherboard remain un-drunk.

▶ A friend recommends her IT 'guy.' For the cost of the replacement keyboard (and some cider), he replaces the keyboard, repairing the laptop in 15 minutes.

... no, it has to be four. Virtual machines not included.

I like big heat sinks for CPUs. More surface area typically means better heat dissipation which means the fan can run at slower speeds and I have a quieter system.

Just because this thing was on sale, I ended up with a reject from Batman Forever as a heat sink. I had to pull the entire motherboard and move the memory over to make room for this thing. I also had to remove the top fan from the case.

After a night of testing under full load and the fan set to the lowest speed, temps in my case have dropped from almost 40 degrees to approximately 35 degrees. It looks like the extra work installing this paid off.
