Guitar Hero clones Rock Band. The worst is: even if their game is inferior (which I just suspect because of the low quality of the recent titles) they might STILL be more popular just because the Brand is stronger. How strong? THAT STRONG!

I'm such a fan of Diablo III that I got this neat book. It's presented like a journal from one of the characters in the game, Deckard Cain, and provides a bunch of background information about the world from the character's research.

the lights remind me of an early version of a computer game I used to have. I had a very cool zx spectum computer - which I loved, i still have it somewhere...
Close up on the basic gun tower in the game. Here you see my first couple of towers taking on some drones for practise - the enemies become a lot more formidable as the game progresses.

Nice graphics - my first impression was that this was the strange love child of CoD4 and GRAW2!
Colours were a bit washed out for my tastes - but more importantly movement was a bit jerky. Of course this is on an over-subscribed BEta server, so I expect public servers to run a lot smother (fingers crossed).
UPDATE: This all seems so far away now - today I am a Level 50 'veteran'. Looking back I would have to say that the jerkiness I talk about here was due to my computer spec at the time. It took an pretty substantial upgrade and the purchase of a ATI Radeon HD8550 graphics card to smooth out the play.
Firsflook is the gaming and pop culture event of the Benelux where the latest games, gadgets and hardware shown for the first time to the Dutch and Belgian players and where all aspects of "nerd culture" are offering. Think of Cosplay, eSports, and (for the first time in 2016) Comic artists and a huge marketplace.
