One day I opened my Sims 2 - and they where there standing on the yeard of my favorite sims family. I think this is a real odd bug! I had no other option than moving the family out of this house.
Has anybody else experieced this or some other very odd bugs?

One of the nice things about an arcade flight combat sim like Heroes of the Pacific is the ability to play out 'what if?' scenarios. Here my P-40 takes on the Japanese Shinden fighter - a late war prototype that never saw service.

Just before Xmas, this child discovers he wants a Wii, and I want a new camera - though the movement in this snap as the child wins a game and gains a head, while the adult in the photo loses hers, makes me love my cheap compact too.
(I did get the Brighton Photography Book though, which is AMAZING! promoted here by lomokev)

One of the things I really like about Blizzard's Collector's Editions for their games is the nicely done, hardbound art book that gets included. Like the one shown here for Reaper of Souls, the new Diablo III expansion.

Although there were some combat flights sims for my first two computers - Sinclair Spectrum 48k and Atari STe - Chuck Yeager's Air Combat was the first game that I really felt gave me exciting and challeging dogfights - and all that on an Apple Mac Performa!

This was the second time I'd beaten the beta. The first time I beat it (Sunday, Feb. 5) I couldn't grab a screenshot at this screen. (Screenshotting in the game itself is still broken, as far as I can tell, so you have to command-M and then use command-shift-4 or command-shift-3 to take the screenshot.
Zx Spectrum Game "Dan Dare", this is the Hiscore by default ! :D
This game was based on a british comic created by Frank Hampson in the 1950s
To play the game:
Insert the dan dare game tape on a recorder
type ( LOAD " " )
press play
wait for at least 4 minutes to load into the memory (48kbytes !)
and there you go!

On the top half of the above picture, you have the online terrain generator for Sim City 4. A handy little tool for creating realistic terrains from actual places. You'll note, however, that there is a tiny island landform blacked out, meaning it is not available for use in the terrain generator. I came across it by accident and researched where it was located and what it was called. It turned out to be a tiny island just off the coast of Georgia, in the United States, called "Jekyll Island." The bottom portion of the image is a map from Google Earth showing the actual location of this same island.
After I had researched the area, it turned out to be a place called "Jekyll Island," and was mostly a place with a lot of resort hotels for the rich and golf courses. Now, why would the makers of Sim City 4 feel the need to black out this tiny little 4,400 acre land mass? Rather than tell you what I think the reason is, look up "Jekyll Island" for yourself and find out the answer. It might surprise you.
