An e-mail I wrote to myself on April 3, 2010. The phrase popped into my head, and I thought I should write it down before I forgot it.

MSI NX8500GT Graphics Card (nVidia 8500GT Chipset) with DVI+HDMI

Ok - so the 500GB HD needs a SATA cable and I need to acquire a PCHDTV card for Myth, but its up and mostly running (emerge world takes a little time)

Abdulkarim Hariri, a PhD student in electrical and computer engineering, in the Quantum Engineering Laboratory on the North Campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor on Thursday morning, March 16, 2023.
The Quantum Engineering Laboratory is a conducting research that encompasses both the theoretical and experimental aspects of quantum information science. Using quantum entanglement Zhang and his students are developing sensors that far suppress classical measurement limits. There are numerous applications including new sensing, computing, communications, security within communications and networking capabilities.

Considering the recent political events happening in Washington, this is truly an eye catching highway billboard. I grin every time I look at it. To those behind this superstar idea; I salute you and bow to you!
Man, I love this ad.

NT053684, LR65.
HISTORY
Pillar completed 31st August 1939. Computed as tertiary triangulation station NT18/T16 during 1947. Levelled to height to first class precision in November 1956. The pillar was destroyed in May 1970.
SITE VISIT
Would have stood at NT 05320 68465. GPS reading indicates that a block of flats occupy trig site. Depressing area where the only local amenity is a post mounted bin for dog poo. The grass verges and gardens are strewn with litter, street furniture is defaced, stray dogs run loose and the ice cream vans chime unrecognizable tunes obviously composed by somebody without an ear for music. Older maps show that this trig stood on the east side of a road just south of crossroads. These roads are now footpaths. Main photo from south. INFO from OS: FB No. was S2686. Pillar destroyed 05/70 (LVP@OS).
Site photos: 9th April 2005, GRP.

This is where you want to be if you need to print or copy something in the library. This is also where you would find the microfilm readers (in the back). To find out more about computing in the library before getting here, check out Library Computing and Printing Services.
I make a lousy sysadmin, but a pretty good high level coder.

A snapshot I took for work, we are putting together a powerpoint and my boss wanted to take a photo of the blade chassis and SAN that is being used for the project.
I saw him trying to take a photo with his iPhone - I dutifully told him I'd get my camera from home at lunch and take a more proper photo. The whole thing is not more than 3.5 feet high - this is the most interesting angle I could come up with. It looks MASSIVE compared to how it looks "in real life".
