Experts in high-performance computing and data management gathered this week for this 26th international conference. The conference provides a unique opportunity for computing experts across Particle and Nuclear Physics to come and learn together from each other and typically attracts over 500 participants from many countries.

Many who work outside of San Francisco commute to the City each day on the "BART" (Bay Area Rapid Transit System) and pass the time by working on their computers.

I wanted another dual parallel port the same as the circuit I used on my 24MHz Z80 computers mainboard so I designed my own PCB and got it manufactured. No Veroboard or wires this time! :-)

Here I have soldered the components ready for inserting the IC's in to the sockets.
