ODC-Beautifully Ordinary

Compositionally Challenged-

I buy a bouquet or two of tulips every Spring.

My Soulmate picking the right composition for her capture of this beautiful Mural in Vernon, B.C. It was a delight to view so many beautiful Murals while traveling British Columbia. A photographer's paradise, for sure!

Compositionally Challenged Week 15 Film Noir for Photography

So here's a second attempt at some kind of Film Noir style. I've tried to invoke the feeling of looking through a door peephole, but what you're actually seeing is the inside of a lens... that tiny Xenon lens focuses so close, that the point of focus is inside the lens... hence it has to be stopped down A LOT in order to get anything in focus. That's the reason for the aweful image quality, which I liked for this challenge.

Shot with a Schneider Kreuznach "Xenon 16 mm F2" on a Canon EOS R5.

One of my favourite spots in the Blue Mountains!

A short but steep descent brings you to this amphitheater and a panorama is a great composition there. The mist/fog was a bonus :-)

Snowy conditions in the mountains today but unfortunately we are stuck in Sydney with the current lockdown

COmposition Series

Extract from the context volumes, colors and shapes by subjectively creating a new self-sufficient harmony.

Pigeons in city park

The architect's design is well expressed with this type of light causing impressive reflections and shadows. Welcomed to complement my series L&P: surprising compositions in the everyday, a special view of buildings, interiors ... lines made abstract.

Both composition nr 21 and nr 22 are part of the series as well.

See: Lines and planes.

Canoes on the wild, pristine Myakka River where manatees roam. The sky and sunlight was perfect to create the cloud reflections. It was only after I downloaded the shot did I notice that it's also a composition in three colors -- red, white/grey, blue. Nice coincidence. Snook Haven, Florida. GOLD Medalist - DTC FREQUENT VOTER REWARD: Admin's Choice Contest - 2009.

I really liked the door and the old man with the bicycle was just a bonus. I had to move as far back as I could to get in the slippers, it was a really narrow lane.

Saw this bike on someone’s steps and thought it looked very cool. Loved the composition and color of the whole thing.
