I really like how he looks! I wanted a little more mature complexion for him but unfortunately I had some trouble yesterday with those I tried to use. I don't know if it was because I was tired or because of the mod I was using, but none of them wanted to install. So I ended up using the 1st one from ELE's mod. It's not that I don't like it, but he looks younger than I imagined him.
He will be having a scar but I will check them tomorrow because I'm way to tired now to edit the save files. xD Also I will give a second try to the other complexions. xD

On this night we offered rose water and oil to the feet of the Divine Mother. Gurudev spoke about Kalaratri Devi as the destroyer of our egoistic qualities.

Music Hall’s 2008 – 2009 Season Opener started with Complexions Contemporary Ballet including an encore performance for long time supporter Maggie Allesee’s Birthday Celebration.
Complexions was created by Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson and boasts dancers from New York City Ballet, National Ballet of Canada and the Dance Theater of Harlem. The evening performances included Hissy Fits, Gone, Momentary Forevers, Ava Maria, Wonder-Full and Routines (pictured).

Review of Royal Coronation Aurora Doll
Her face is pretty, but bland and generic. She only has a passing resemblance to the movie character, as portrayed by Elle Fanning. She doesn't have very realistic features, but looks like an ordinary doll painted to look like an animated character. She has a light complexion, small blue green eyes gazing straight ahead, brown eyebrows, small straight nose, light pink lips on a small mouth, large chin, and light rouge on her cheeks.
She has long golden blonde hair that reaches her hips. There is a solitary long curl hanging from her left side. The rest of her hair is slightly wavy, and is grouped in a single mass, which I left alone. It would look better if it were combed out, but I was afraid that it might get frizzy if I attempted to do so. The hair is shiny and soft, and doesn't appear to have any hair product.
The dress is golden brocaded satin, with a floral design. The underside is very light tan in color. There is also a painted floral overlay in pink and green, which is only in the front of the dress (the front of the skirt and bodice). There is golden lace trim at the hem, waist and collar and cuffs. Her collar and cuffs end in white organza. The skirt is pleated, and almost floor length. The bodice has a high waist, with a golden belt sewn around it. Her sleeves are full length. There is a over sized train sewn to the back of the dress, just below the waist. It made of the same material and has the same decoration as the front of the skirt. Its underside is fully lined with gold satin. The dress looks and feels luxurious, and fit for royalty.
She is wearing tan colored heels, with a simulated strap and an unpainted embossed floral design. She is wearing a gold colored plastic crown that is made to look like a floral wreath, that goes halfway around her head. It is secured only by two T-tab fasteners, so it is not meant to be removed or used on other dolls.
Her body is made of hard plastic throughout. She has seven points of articulation: her neck, shoulders, elbows and hips. Her hands are permanently tilted back to make the standard Princess pose. Her feet are fixed at an angle to wear high heels. Her head can turn 360 degrees around, and can tilt up about 20 degrees, and tilt down 10 degrees. Her arms can swivel about the shoulders 360 degrees, and can tilt about 20 degrees. Her forearms can swivel around her elbows almost 360 degrees, but cannot go completely around. They can tilt back about 20 degrees, and forward about 60 degrees. Her hips can swivel 90 degrees both back and forth, and can tilt out about 30 degrees. She has white painted on underwear, which looks like a strapless one piece bathing suit.
Packaging and Deboxing
It was easy to debox Coronation Aurora, compared to most Disney Store dolls. First step was to remove the clear plastic cover from the box, by cutting the tape around the edges, and lifting the tabs free from the cardboard. Aurora is standing on a small cardboard spacer. Behind her is a printed background from the movie, which is common to all the dolls in this series. There was only plastic T-tab fasteners securing her to the backing and the plastic spacer. It was possible to reach all the fasteners and snip them off, without having to remove the large plastic spacer. It turned out that the fastener that was supposed to go into the back of her head didn't make it past her hair, so she didn't have a post sticking out of her head when I snipped the fastener loose. The other end of the fastener was just laying loose in her hair. There was tissue paper around her legs, but only up to her knees, to make the skirt look fuller in the box.

I just received the four available Jakks Pacific dolls from the Maleficent movie in single doll packages. I ordered them from Toys R Us on Friday night and got them Tuesday, with free shipping. I appreciated the quick shipping, compared to the Disney Store. The dolls are the following, with links to the TRU site. All the dolls are 11 1/2'' H. The Coronation dolls are $39.95 each, the other two are $19.95.

Snow White and her Prince have now been fully deboxed. They are posed standing, supported by the built-in doll stands in the base of the display case.
This regular version of the Snow White and the Prince Disney Fairytale Designer Collection Doll Set has the same two base dolls as the D23 special edition dolls that I reviewed earlier. That is the dolls themselves are identical in every way (except for the serial numbers on the back of the Prince dolls). They also have outfits of almost identical designs, but made of different materials and with differing colors. So the dolls have different looks, especially the Snow Whites.
Snow White has the body of a 2012 Disney Store Classic Princess doll. That is, she has hard plastic legs, with hinged knee joints and ball jointed ankles. She is missing the usual manufacturer's marks printed on Disney limited edition dolls, including the part number and her edition size and serial number. She is also missing the twist waist joint of the previous Designer Princess and Designer Villain dolls. She has a pale complexion, the same as the 2012 Snow White, with whom she shares the same body. However, her neck joint has more freedom of movement, especially downward, and her painted on panties are deep golden yellow, much darker than the 2012 Snow White.
Her face mold appears to be the same as the 2012 and 2013 Classic Snow White, but with a considerably different face paint than either of them. She has large dark brown eyes that are glancing to her left, with four short thick lashes over each eye and four very short and thin lashes under each eye. Over her eyes is gold eyeshadow, and thin black eyebrows gently following the curve of her eyes. She also had short rooted eyelashes that are just barely curving upwards, and are even in length. She has a small button nose, a small mouth with blood red lips forming a charming open mouth smile. She has light pink rouge over most of her cheeks, and a round face with small chin. She is a very beautiful and faithful representation of the sweet and charming movie character.
Her hair is a considerable departure from the traditional short flip hairdo. Her jet black hair is parted to the left of her head, and pulled tightly over her head into a medium length braided ponytail that tapers down to a point and is secured by black rubberband, and is sewn to her collar on her right side. There is a small amount of hair product applied just above her forehead, to a thin strip of her hair. In my doll, that strip keeps on separating from the rest of her hair. I haven't been able to integrate it with the rest of her hair; perhaps I will have to apply more hair product to keep it place. There is a thin bright red satin ribbon around the top of her head that ends in a small bow at left side of her head.
Her outfit is a take on her traditional Princess gown. Her bodice and skirt are separate pieces. The bodice is dark blue velvet with gold piping and elaborate gold embroidery, and decorated with a bow made of metallic gold thread. The floral design is similar to the D23 doll, but differs in its details. She has puffy sleeves of the same dark blue velvet, with separate ribbons of bright red satin that float over the velvet. The sleeves have black lace cuffs decorated with gold hearts, and the oversized collar is pure white lace folded in a fan-like manner behind her neck and head. Her skirt is dark golden taffeta with gold embroidering incorporating fleur-de-lis, flowers and hearts. The embroidery in the skirt is identical to that of the D23 doll. The taffeta gives the skirt has a wrinkled, antique appearance. It has a thin pale tan satin lining. There are golden rhinestones scattered throughout the bodice and skirt of her dress. Under her dress is a floor length white satin slip with the lacey pattern at the hem showing below her skirt. It is sewn to her skirt at two spots at the hem, which I chose to leave alone for now. It is also sewn to the waist band of the skirt, so it is a permanent part of the skirt. She is wearing golden tan flat shoes (or slippers), the same as the D23 doll. It is a beautifully designed and beautifully made outfit that is a darker and more ornated version of the Princess outfit of the movie character.
The Prince appears to have the standard Disney Store Prince body, with articulation at the neck, shoulders, hinge jointed elbows, ball jointed hips, and internal knee joints with limited movement. His hands and feet are large, but his head is disproportionately small compared to Snow White. His face has a neutral expression, with small, narrow deep blue eyes, wide mouth and a straight nose. His molded dark brown hair looks okay. His face doesn't look that movie accurate to me; I actually prefer the playline Classic Prince. As with all Disney Prince dolls, he is sturdily built, and can free stand fairly stably. But for safe keeping, it is best to put him up in the included doll stand, which has a wide C-clamp that goes around his waist very snuggly.
The Prince's outfit is very well made and fitted to his body. It consists of a dark blue faux leather vest, a bright red velvet and satin cape with gold piping permanently attached at the shoulders of the vest, a dark blue faux leather belt with a gold metal buckle and a short black faux leather scabbard attached, white satin shirt, black pants and black boots with a worn look and creases. In the scabbard is a steel gray sword with a brown handle. The sword is thin and very flexible. It was slightly bent out of the box, but was easily bent back into shape. The D23 Prince's vest is much thicker, and feels much more like real leather than this Prince doll. But this Prince has an outfit that is much closer in color to the movie character. He looks great in his outfit, and very dashing, but I wish his expression had more emotion, and was more cheerful.

Beloved Aurora is fully deboxed, and is posed free standing. Once the right balance is achieved, she is fairly stable. Her simple and symmetrical dress made it much more easy to balance on her shoes than the Coronation Aurora doll, who had a heavy train on her dress. Photographed in daylight.
Review of Beloved Aurora Doll
Both Beloved and Royal Coronation Aurora dolls have identical faces. Her face is pretty, but bland and generic. She only has a passing resemblance to the movie character, as portrayed by Elle Fanning. She doesn't have very realistic features, but looks like an ordinary doll painted to look like an animated character. She has a light complexion, small blue green eyes gazing straight ahead, brown eyebrows, small straight nose, light pink lips on a small mouth, large chin, and light rouge on her cheeks.
Her hair out of the box is much neater than Coronation Aurora's hair. Like the other doll, she has a long side curl down the left side of her head. It is bit stiff from hair product, and is a much tighter curl than the one on Coronation Aurora. There is also some hair product in the side bangs right over her forehead. The rest of her hair is loose and gently wavy down the her back to her hips, and is soft and smooth. Her hair is thinly rooted hair over most of her head, so a bald spot is visible right behind her side bangs. Also bald spots are easily visible if her hair is moved around on the top of her head. It would help if she had some hair ornaments or headdress to help hide the bald spots.
Her outfit is very simple. It is a full length one piece dress, made of light blue satin, with gold glitter decoration, white organza trim at the collar, flared full length sleeves, and a plastic belt around her waist with a hanging piece down the front of her dress. The satin is shiny and very smooth, and the glitter does not shed at all. In addition to the gold glitter, there is also printed flowers in the hem of the dress. She is wearing the same style high heeled shoes as Coronation Aurora, but these are light blue in color instead of tan.
Packaging and Deboxing
Deboxing the Beloved Aurora Doll by Tollytots/Jakks Pacific was more difficult than for the Coronation Aurora doll. In order to remove the front plastic cover from the box, it was necessary to almost tear the back of the box apart, as the two layers of the backing were taped and glued shut. The tabs of the plastic cover were also taped and glued to the inside of the backing. The box would need a lot of tape to put it back together securely, if it were to be reused for storing or displaying the doll in the box. And the tearing apart of the backing of course creased and weakened the cardboard.
Aurora is standing on a small cardboard spacer. Behind her is a printed background from the movie, which is common to all the dolls in this series. Unfortunately, the bottom of the backing was not square to the back side, so the doll would fall face forward if I tried to stand her up in the backing.
Removing her from the backing was very easy, especially compared to most Disney Store dolls. There was only plastic T-tab fasteners securing her to the backing and the plastic spacer. It was possible to reach all the fasteners and snip them off, without having to remove the large plastic spacer, including the one through the back of her head. The remaining post sticking out of her head was snipped off as close to her scalp as possible, without cutting her hair. Unlike Coronation Aurora, there was no tissue paper around her legs.

Investigators said he stood quietly at the corner of 4th and Kater streets, a scruffy white guy in his 20s, wearing a gray hoodie, jeans and sunglasses.
At 6:15 p.m., he spotted his victim - a 25-year-old woman who had just walked off South Street, alone and on a cell phone.
Even though dozens of firefighters and police officers were just a few blocks away at the scene of a home explosion on 6th Street near Bainbridge, the rapist pounced.
"He approached her as if he was going to ask for directions," said Capt. John Darby, of the police Special Victims Unit. "Instead, he produced a 6- to 8-inch knife and forced her down Kater Street and into an SUV."
The attacker raped the woman once they were inside his dark-colored SUV, which had rear tinted windows, Darby said.
Afterwards, the rapist forced the woman out of his SUV. He drove west on Kater Street and turned off onto 4th Street.
Darby said it appears that the rapist parked his car on Kater Street in advance and waited for a possible victim to walk by.
"That scares me," he said. "That kind of pre-planned attack makes him very dangerous."

DELMARVA MEN WHO RODE WITH CUSTER AT THE BATTLE OF LITTLE BIG HORN
The Battle of the Little Big Horn or as it is sometime called Custer’s Last Stand happened on June 25th 1876. There has been so much written about it, it is hard to tell fact from fiction, but what we do know is out of a force of over 600 7th Cavalry men; 268 men died and 55 were injured. Of the men who died one was from Delaware, and of the men that survived one was from Dorchester County, Maryland.
George Morris enlisted for five years at Philadelphia, Pa on the 26th of October 1872. He signed a paper saying he was 21 years of age and by occupation a Carriage-maker. He stated he was born in Georgetown, Delaware. Captain S. M. Whiteside of the 6th Cavalry swore that he minutely inspected George Morris and he was sober at that time of enlistment and appear to be of lawful age and he had Brown eyes, Brown hair, fair complexion and was 5 feet 5 ¾ inches high. J. M. Neill, Assistant Army Surgeon, swore he examined George Morris and he was free of all bodily defects and mental infirmity. Unknown to Captain Whiteside and Assistant Army Surgeon Neill was George Morris was really a man named Eugene Cooper.
Eugene Cooper entered military service under an alias, George Morris. We do not know the reason why. The first thought that comes to mind is he was wanted by the law for some reason but in 1872 there was a great depression going on. It was referred to as the “great depression” until 1930 when even a worst depression took place and the name was changed to the “Panic of 1873.” So either down on his luck or hunted by the law Eugene Cooper did what a lot of young men did—he enlisted. Joining the U.S. Army in 1872 was an admission of economic incompetence if you were a native-born American, as Eugene Cooper was, and a lot of young men signed up under assumed names.
If Private Morris (Cooper) followed the path of other 7th Cavalry Company “I” troopers he would have been sent to Columbus Barracks, Ohio for training and then to Shebyville, Kentucky and in 1873 transferred to Fort Totten, Dakota Territory (DT). In 1874 Company “I” of the 7th Cavalry moved from Fort Totten to Fort Abraham Lincoln.
He must have had ability and intelligence as four years after enlisting he was a Corporal. So on a hot Sunday on June 25th 1876, Corporal Morris was riding with “I” Company, commanded by Captain Myles Keogh, an Irishman who was born in County Carlow and who had fought in the American Civil War. The fighting took place along what is called Calhoun Hill, Keogh Ridge and Custer Hill, an area about a kilometer in distance. Most of Company “I” died on what is called Keogh Ridge with Captain Keogh. The spot where Captain Keogh and his men fell was a slight depression in the ground. The men were found around this depression indicating they had used it as a defensive position. This was a rapid battle that was over within an hour. We do not know where Corporal Morris (Cooper) died as when positions became overrun the surviving trooper would try to run toward the nucleus of troopers around Lt. Colonel Custer on “Custer Last Stand” Hill. Three days later when the surviving members of the 7th cavalry found them, the bodies were too mutilated, stripped of clothing that may have contained personal identification items, and had spent three days in the hot sun. Most were not identified.
Eugene T. Cooper was born July 4, 1851 in Georgetown Delaware. His parents were Benjamin Brady Cooper (1828 -1888) and Hannah Sherwood (1829-1914 ) . Benjamin and Hannah married on August 6, 1850. In addition to Eugene they would have a second son, Thomas O. Cooper (1854 - 1925). Benjamin was a wheelwright and the family moved frequently. Eugene being born in Georgetown may have represented the farthest southern movement of the family. They lived mostly in Kent and New castle family. Both Benjamin and Hannah are connected with the Coopers, Sherwoods, Broadways and Lowbers from Petersburg, Murderkill Hundreds, Kent County, Delaware. They are classic Delmarva families that intermarry frequently. Those families came from around Easton and Denton Maryland and moved to Delaware when Lord Baltimore started to tax non-Catholics at a little higher rate plus used other forms of bias against them. From the census records Benjamin and Hannah always had lodgers and servants in their homes. Frequently the lodgers were relatives from both sides of their families.
Benjamin B. Cooper would die of a heart attack at age 60 on March 3, 1888. After her husband’s death Hannah, applied for a pension under George Morris (Eugene Cooper) federal service.
In 1892 Hannah Cooper would begin receiving twelve dollars a month as a pension.
Hannah Cooper was found dead in bed on December 21, 1914. The medical doctor said she was asphyxiated.
Thomas O. Cooper, the second son, lived in Wilmington and had a varying career of photographer, dance master, music teacher and finally Doctor. He served as a Democratic Delaware State representative from 1904 to 1913 during which time he was speaker of the house from 1909 to 1910. He remained a bachelor throughout his life and he died in Wilmington September 7, 1925. His will was probated September 7, 1926. He left his belongings to servants and relatives on the Sherwood side of the family. He was buried with his family at Wilmington and Brandywine cemetery.
Benjamin Brady Cooper, father of Eugene Cooper, was the son of Richard Cooper (1795 -?) and Mary Brady. Richard Cooper was the son of Thomas Cooper (1765-1806) and Catherine Lowber (1765-1852). In the 1850 census Richard is a farmer in Murderkill Hundreds, Kent County. He is listed as insane. His wife, Mary Brady, born February 25, 1798, was one of eight children of Benjamin Brady (1760-1839) and Elizabeth Broadway . Benjamin Brady was a Justice of the Peace and one of the founders of Whatcoat Chapel in Camden Delaware. Mary Brady Cooper died October 16, 1859 and is buried at Whatcoat Methodist Church.
Thomas Cooper (1765-1860), father of Richard Cooper, born in Caroline County, Maryland, was the son of Richard Cooper, Sr and Ann Broadway. Thomas and Catherine Lowber would have seven known children; Catherine, Jeremiah, Mary, Peter, Richard, Sarah Ann, and Ezekiel. Thomas was a Superior Court Judge and President of Farmers Bank in Georgetown, Delaware.
Richard Cooper, Sr. (1726 – 1773) was the husband of Ann Broadway (1727-1794) and the son of John Cooper and Deborah Smith. Born in Talbot County Maryland he moved to Kent County, Delaware. He was in the French and Indian wars.
John Cooper (1681 – 1763) born in Nottinghamshire England, died in Queen Anne County Maryland. Married Deborah Smith (1694- bef 1739). Deborah was the daughter of Captain John Smith from Ulster, Ireland and Agnes Lowber (loper) from Amsterdam, Holland.
Our second man from Delmarva with the 7th Cavalry at little Big Horn was Hugh N. Moore from Dorchester County. Private Moore was with “M” Company lead by Captain Thomas French and assigned to the command of Major Reno. Major Reno led the initial attack on the south end of the Indian Village at Little Big Horn and was beaten back to what is today called “Reno Hill.” In the process of retreating he lost 40% of his men. Captain Benteen returned with his three companies of men and a little later the Pack Train arrived on Reno hill. Major Reno had at that time about 350 men. The Indians surrounded them and they were under attack for June 25th, and June 26th, on June 27th. Company “M” was assigned to defend the perimeter of the hill facing the river.
Hugh Moore enlisted in 1872 August 24th in Louisville Kentucky at the age of 29. We do not know what took him from Baltimore, where in the 1860 and 1870 census he was a sailmaker, to Louisville but we do know, generally, what Hugh Moore looked liked from his enlistment and re-enlistment papers. He was white, eyes; gray, complexion; fair, hair; brown, (by his fourth re-enlistment the hair color would be described as gray), and his height was 5’ 7 ½ inches. At the time he joined the cavalry the requirement was the men could be no taller than 5’10” nor shorter than 5’5” with a maximum weight of 165 pounds. This was to allow the horse not to tire too soon as in addition to the weight of the trooper there was another 50 pounds of equipment to be carried on horseback. There were, of course, exceptions to this rule of height and weight.
Private Moore would be assigned to the 7th cavalry “M” company at Fort Lincoln Dakota Territory (DT). “M” company was commanded by Captain Thomas French, who was born in Baltimore. In addition to Captain French serving in the 7th cavalry at this time were 11 other troopers who had been born in Baltimore, so Hugh Moore may have had common experiences with them in Baltimore. Company “M” had 57 men of which 12 would die at Little Big Horn and another 10 would be wounded.
After the little Big Horn battle “M” company was rotated among various forts in the west from Fort Abraham Lincoln, Fort Buford, Fort Keogh, Fort Leavenworth, Fort Meade Fort Totten and Fort Riley. We know from his re-enlistment papers and census records. Hugh Moore was at Fort Meade, Lawrence, Dakota Territory, Fort Sill Lawton Indian Territory, Camp Lower Geyser Basin MT, and Yellowstone Park.
A couple of weeks after the Battle of Little Big Horn, Moore was promoted to Corporal and in December 1876 he was promoted to Sergeant. In April, 1879 he was reduced to Private, appointed to Corporal again in 1881, promoted again to Sergeant in October 1881, reduced to Private in December 1881 he would go thru this promotion/reduction in rank cycle until 1887 when he would remain a private. Perhaps his health record or sick call record reflects the reason why this occurred. Among the medical problems for Moore are; incised wound 1873, Sprain Knee 1877, Contusion 1879, acute diarrhea 1882, inebriation 1882, intercostal rheumatism 1885, inebriation 1887, boils on buttocks 1889, and from 1887 to 1889 numerous alcohol related problems. By 1889 he was consider a chronic alcoholic. Perhaps this alcohol problem was the reason for his transfer in 1887 from his original “M” Company to “K” company and later in the year to “F” Company.
Hugh Moore was discharged from Military Service due to an oblique inguinal hernia on the right side and chronic alcoholism on August 10th, 1889 at Ft Sill, Indian Territory. As Blain Taylor, Asst Surgeon, described his condition “his constitution is completely shattered from excessive use of alcoholic stimulants”. Shortly after that he was a resident of the Old Soldier Home in Washington D.C. He applied for an invalid pension in 1890 and was turned down as his problems were not service related. He would die at the Old Soldier’s Home on September 3rd, 1900 at age 58. He was buried in the Military Asylum Cemetery 21 Harewood Road N.W. Washington DC in Section K Grave #6825.
Hugh N. Moore parents were Nield (Neild) Moore (1810-1859)and Elizabeth Keene (1814- )of Church Creek, Dorchester County Maryland. In the 1850 census Hugh had an older sister, Melvina (b1837), a younger brother Henry W. (b 1844) and a younger sister Sarah Jane (b 1848). Nield Moore was a slave owner and is shown in the Maryland Slave Schedule for 1850. In 1859 Hugh Moore’s father, Nield Moore, died and Hugh Moore in the 1860 census is shown as an apprentice sailmaker in Baltimore living with the Washington Tall family. Since Tall is also a Dorchester county name that person may be a relative. His sister Melvina in 1860 is living with Hugh Nield (Neild) age 69, and family. Hugh Nield would act as Sureties for the settling of Neild Moore estate. Later in 1860 Hugh Nield would die.
