Wiring completion & early testing.
We have the wiring completed, and the circuit is working. I don't have time to test it to temperature tonight, and want to be able to monitor things pretty closely so I am going to wait until tomorrow to bring the unit up to cooking temperatures.
I will be writing up an at length description of this project when it is completed and tested (which should be in the next several days for those who are interested enough to follow up).

Ickworth House is a country house near Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England. It is a neoclassical building set in parkland.
The house built between 1795 and 1829, was formerly the chief dwelling of an estate owned by the Hervey family, later Marquesses of Bristol, since 1467. The building was the creation of Frederick Hervey, 4th Earl of Bristol and Bishop of Derry who commissioned the Italian architect Asprucci to design him a classical villa in the Suffolk countryside. The Earl died in 1803, leaving the completion of house to his successor. In 1956, the house, park, and a large endowment were given to the National Trust in lieu of death duties. As part of the handover agreement, a 99-year lease on the 60-room East Wing was given to the Marquess of Bristol. However, in 1998 the 7th Marquess of Bristol sold the remaining lease on the East Wing to the National Trust. This wing is now a 27-bedroom hotel. As one of England's more unusual houses, Ickworth has been unflatteringly described as resembling "a huge bulk, newly arrived from another planet" and as "an overgrown folly" Yet, is now being architecturally re-asessed and recognised as the only building in England comparable with the monumental works of Boullée and Ledoux. The design concept was based on the designs of Italian architect Mario Asprucci, most noted for his work at the Villa Borghese. Asprucci's plans were adapted the and the building work overseen by English architects Francis Sandys and his brother Joseph Sandys. The façades are of brick covered in stucco; beneath a roof of slate and lead. The central Rotunda 105 ft. high with domed and balustraded roof. the building is entered through central entrance ionic pedimented portico. The Rotunda is decorated with pilasters, which on the lower floor are Ionic and Corinthian above. The ground and first floor and the third floor and the balustraded parapet are divided friezes bas-relief. The rotunda is flanked by segmental single story narrow wings(appearing as a blind arcade) linking, in the palladian fashion, to two terminating pavilions; these segmental wings are broken at their centre by projecting bays which house the smoking and Pompeian rooms, both later 19th century additions. Unlike the design of a true Palladian building, the terminating pavilions are in fact large wings, complementary to the rotunda which is their corps de logis rather than minor balancing appendages. The East Wing, a small mansion in itself, was designed to be the everyday living quarters of the family (which it remained until 1998), thus permitting the more formal rooms of the rotunda to be reserved for entertaining and display. The west wing, intended as an orangery, sculpture gallery and service rooms remained an unfinished shell until the beginning of the 21st century. For much of the time it was used as an agricultural store. Paintings by Velázquez, Titian, Poussin, and Claude Lorraine, as well as an unrivalled series of 18th-century family portraits by artists such as Gainsborough, Reynolds, Vigee-Lebrun, Batoni, Angelica Kauffman, Ramsay, Van Loo, and Hogarth. In addition, Ickworth has arguably the best collections in Britain of fine Georgian silver. The house also contains very good examples of Regency furniture and porcelain. Most members of the Hervey family, from Thomas Hervey (d. 1467) up to the 7th Marquess of Bristol, have been buried at Ickworth Church, which is located in the Park, a short walk from the house. The church is Norman with some later additions, and possesses a 15th-century wall painting of the Angel of the Annunciation, a 15th-century font, and roundels of Flemish glass from as early as 14th century, as well as numerous marble achievements to different members of the Hervey family over the centuries. It remains in the hands of the Hervey family and has recently undergone repairs to make it safe with the help of a grant from English Heritage.

Built 1906 as the 359 ton steam yacht ADELE, by Hawthorne and Co., Leith for Henry Dutton, a wealthy South Australian landowner.
Acquired by the Commonwealth Government from Mr Dutton's estate in 1915 and renamed HMAS FRANKLIN, she was first used as a tender to the newly-established Royal Australian Navy College, HMAS CRESWELL, at Jervis Bay.
In 1920 she acted as Royal Yacht for Prince Edward, the Prince of Wales, during his visit to Australia on HMS RENOWN, during which he reviewed the Australian Fleet in Port Phillip Bay.
Paid off in September 1922, she was transferred to the Administrator of the Mandated Territory of New Guinea and used there until laid up in Rabaul in 1932. She was sold to Mr W.L. Buckland of Melbourne, who bought her as an ocean going yacht, but as the Depression bit she changed hands again, being acquired by Mr C.H. Ralph of Sydney, and anchored in Rose Bay for some years.
At the outbreak of WWII she was requisitioned into the RAN again as an examination vessel, under her original name. On the night of June 8 1942 HMAS ADELE, which carried only light arms, sighted gunfire flashes as the Japanese fleet submarine I-24 shelled the south eastern suburbs of Sydney, causing minor damage to a grocer's shop.
On May 7 1943, she was serving as a humble stores carrier for the RAN when she came to an unfortunate end, wrecked on a breakwater at Port Kembla. She was a total loss.

Pirate-y Wallaby is in the home stretch. About 7 more inches worth of stockinette to go on that hood, then kitchener it up and I'm good! Well.. almost good. The bottom, as you can see, decided to have an "overachiever" kind of roll, so I'm debating whether I want to do an applied I-cord to tame it down, or just pick up and knit a ribbing band after all. Guess I'll see just how crazy it is after blocking.
DMS2282 nearing completion. This bus was repainted and has the roundel in the later position. The real bus can be seen on Flickr. Route numbers and destinations are temporary and light clusters to be completed.

Year 7 Completion Ceremony | 2013-14
22 members of the seventh year cohort of the Aboriginal Youth Internship Program (AYIP) celebrated the completion of their 12-month program at a ceremony in Victoria, B.C.
The Honourable John Rustad, Minister of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation, presented each of the interns with a completion certificate. Speakers included Chief Ron Sam, Songhees Nation, Chief Andy Thomas, Esquimalt Nation, Kate Elliot, Métis Nation B.C., Howard Grant, First Nations Summit, Hjalmer Wenstob, BC Assembly of First Nations, Priscilla Sabbas Watts, and intern Joshua Gottfriedson.

The end result will most likely be 500 prims and will require a footprint of at least 30x30 meters square.

Ambition Rockets Past 50% Completion
On May 14, 2010, another step was taken in the development and construction of the National Flight Academy's aircraft carrier Ambition. Upon reaching the 50 percent completion mark, she was visited by two of the National Flight Academy's Board of Advisors, Astronauts Neil Armstrong (Commander, Apollo 11) and Gene Cernan (Commander, Apollo 17) along with RADM George "Skip" Furlong, Jr. These men got a chance to meet firsthand the ship’s pre-commissioning team (NFA staff) and received a quick update on the overall project. Afterwards our guests headed over into the construction site for an in-depth tour.
Our distinguished guests along with NFA Vice-President Elvis toured the Ambition for ninety minutes. There they were able to put one dimensional briefings and two dimensional images into three-dimensional reality and really begin to understand how the NFA vision is quickly becoming reality. Mr. Cernan spoke several times about ways to integrate various teaching components into the training while making sure the training is fun and exciting for our student aviators, and stressed the long-term importance of a robust and engaging alumni program. One item in which Mr. Armstrong took great interest is the need for students to prepare for their NFA adventure by the use of extensive and immersive web-based training. This training, along with a web-based social networking alumni program, will be available to our students before and after they attend their 5 ½ day aviation-inspired learning adventure at the National Flight Academy.
As the National Flight Academy team continues forward on its mission, we took great pride in receiving congratulations and “good job” from both of these American explorers. With Admiral Furlong, we had one of the original visionaries of the National Flight Academy present, who was equally as proud to see the efforts of his hard work coming to fruition.
Just a light covering of road grime required for this model, so a basic wash on the main body of Precision 'Dirty Black', followed by some weathering powders and then a final very dry-brush with Humbrol 'Metalcote' was all that was needed. Front grille received a wash of 'Dirty Black' followed by a dry-brush of 'Metalcote'. Had a slight hiccup on the cab roof as very close to completion I managed to put a sheen-like stain on it. Work with a cotton-bud soaked in White Spirit effectively removed the mark and some of the initial wash, giving a more random effect which looked more realistic. After a quick seal with Dullcote, I then added a tad more weathering powder to kill the bright orange and it was fine. the photographs don't show it quite as effectively as it actually is.
Trucks and fuel tank were done using wash of Precision 'Frame Dirt' which was then washed over with Precision 'Dirty Black'. A final dry-brush with Humbrol 'Metalcote' on the trucks and a little more on the fuel tank to give an oily sheen and job done.
Just needs a replacement fire-cracker aerial.
