Actually, not true. As everyone who knows me will testify, I hate the heat! We seem to have gone straight from Winter to high Summer here.
For this week's Crazy Tuesday group theme, Complementary Colours. I chose blue and orange.
From the hilltop there was a lot to be seen, but only for a moment these ships lay under the leaves of this tree. It was a lovely visual moment.
Don't be Panic about the Pandemic. Self Isolation and Social Distancing make the Planet re-breath. Have a wonderful time at your home.
This Composition meets the Rule of Thirds and interesting thing is, the colors are complementary to the opposite.
Red and greens are represented nicely in nature, this is currants I have in my garden.
Lovely to eat as it is, or with milk and a bit of sugar.

Home grown tomatoes, home grown tomatoes; What would life be like without homegrown tomatoes; Only two things that money can't buy; That's true love and home grown tomatoes.

Playing with macro
A rather unimaginative entry into this weeks Macro Mondays theme which is Complementary colours, so this is purple and yellow.
Played around with paints and glitters and all sorts of weird things, but sometimes the simplest ideas work the best.
Question for all you techies out there. Shot taken at 100 ISO, f20, 0.8s and on a tripod but I am still getting a fair bit of noise and not managing to get pin sharp. The lens is a Sigma art lens so should be a good piece of glass. Am I doing something wrong or am I just expecting too much from my kit?
Unfortunately, I won't be able to share. It took us a while, but we ate both sugar cookie pickup trucks and all the pumpkins too. lol

Canada goldenrod, Solidago canadensis, and New England aster, Symphyotrichum novae-angliae.
Few floral colour displays can rival late summer meadows in this part of the North America with their many species of goldenrod and aster. The display seemed particularly vivid this year. Presumably these wildflowers like the increased rain and heat Ontario received this summer, and is expected to continue receiving due to climate change. A mild, wet fall has not stimulated the colours of tree foliage quite as well.

For Macro Mondays theme Complementary Colours.
Crocosmia Red Lucifer (don't you just love that name) more commonly known as Montbretia. I have always adored it's striking red colour against it's vivid green, long and blade like leaves. I never knew it was part of the Iris Family.

I've often grown French Marigolds to keep tomatoes healthy but this is the first year I've tried named varieties, and am just loving the rich colours of each and every one of these old-fashioned singles and doubles...
There is no blue without yellow and without orange.

Once again complementary colours hold this composition together. But the real attraction to me is the way the sunlight shines through those leaves.
For Macro Mondays, this week’s theme: “Less Than An Inch"
The curled loop is about a quarter of an inch. I used a 100mm Macro lens with a Kenko 36 mm extension tube.
HMM!
