The director of project TZ0240 explained the history of compassion in Tanzania and what the project in Monduli Juu consisted of. This gave us a better understanding before we then experienced the whole project.

Monduli Juu, Tanzania

"Compassion can lead one into danger."

In this picture both parties are in a romantic relationship with each other, but the love the boy carried for the girl blinded him of the truth which ultimately led the girl into taking advantage of him, just as backstabbing him. Just as Mayella did to Tom.

To Kill a Mocking Bird - Mayella Ewell, who longed for a touch of a real man, was fond of a black man, Tom Robinson. After their unfortunate affair, Bob Ewell, father of Mayella, caught them and accused Tom Robinson of rape. Mayella who failed to get what she had wanted for such a long time, now accused Tom Robinson of rape which had brought despair upon Tom.
