This version of the full Oxford English Dictionary is only compact when compared with the twenty volumes of the standard edition. The print is tiny and the paper is very thin.
This single volume edition measures just over 12"x10"x3" and weighs nearly 11lbs.

Going through my 'man drawer' this afternoon and uncovering all sorts of things, including my most recent 3 cameras before the 550D. This Mju took some really fab photos back in the day of film ... think I bought it around 1998. I also had an old Pentax ME Super SLR camera that I used at university but sadly I don't know where it is any more.

More panoramas created using the in-camera panorama function. In this case, I panned right to left as the bus was approaching.
The pointer is pointing directly to the central canal (Haversian canal). Surrounding the central canal are multiple small lines (canaliculi) and the really dark spots are osteocytes in lacunae.
Just testing the depth of field on the compact.

The Sandugo was a blood compact, performed in the island of Bohol in the Philippines, between the Spanish explorer Miguel López de Legazpi and Datu Sikatuna the chieftain of Bohol on March 16, 1565, to seal their friendship as part of the tribal tradition. This is considered as the first treaty of friendship between the Spaniards and Filipinos. "Sandugo" is a Visayan word which means "one blood".
My Sailor Moon compacts came in from J-list today! I’m currently working on a shadow box to display them in. They are super pretty in person but do have a few flaws, but hey what else would you expect for $3 gashapon toys.
