Mucking around with pro low light mode on Finepix F72EXR apparently it reduces noise but I have nothing to judge it against - four photos merged together hand held!

I took a shot of the moon again tonight. Normally I would use my DSLR and 600mm lens with maybe a 1.4 or 2 times converter, or both.

 

For a change I shot this on my compact camera. The camera was steadied against the top of my back gate.

First attempt at water drops on a CD/DVD. Used my extension tubes for some and just dedicated macro for others. The colors you get from a CD and DVD are totally different so try both. Lots of fun on a rainy day.
