I saw this little Superior Pak self contained hook lift compactor at the local shopping centre of the western suburb of Belbowrie. I reckon its an auger type, but not fully sure. Can't remember who owned it, but it was either TPI or Sita.

Shooting film in the old Compact 35. It’s not been the same since it got wet. (Don’t ask) which killed the light meter so I’m running a seperate light meter from AliExpress which works well. For a camera that’s over 50 years old it works

This is truck SL028 collecting greenwaste, with a very slow compactor, this truck sat here for 20 mins compacting its load. That's why this truck is usually on garbage.

Taken at 1:2 magnification on a full-frame sensor with 100mm macro lens. This is a gadget for opening new CD jewel cases. You slide the edge of the case along the flat edge of the gadget. This depresses the plastic tab at left, which seesaws the metal blade upward, slicing through the plastic wrapping. How long before this gadget goes the way of the dinosaurs? How long will there be jewel cases to open?

The Agfa Compact was billed as the world's smallest motorized camera, and was the last camera manufactured by Agfa. It is the same height as the Olympus XA, and only about 5 mm wider.

The Leica R4 is the first compact SLR of the famous German camera manufacturer.

Born from a joint venture between Leitz and Minolta, the Leica R4 is the first compact single-lens reflex camera of the German manufacturer after the huge and heavy Leicaflex, Leicaflex SL, Leicaflex SL2 and Leica R3. Its production started in 1980. Its performances aren't exceptionnal when compared to the competitors of its time (like the Olympus OM1) but it allows to use the legendary Leica R lenses (in their 3 cams version).

Along with its perfect build, the main strength of this camera is its numerous exposure modes : aperture priority with central-weighted or spot metering with exposure lock, speed priority with central-weighted metering, program and manual. Its main weakness is the lack of TTL flash metering though the flash-sync speed is set automatically with dedicated flash units.

I don't really do these on purpose. No wheels on fire, rolling down the road here.
