ZOOM in and enjoy!
Hello dear friends! ☺
I dug through the archives and found this summery flower photo to share with you guys :-)
(it was taken down south, in beautiful Skåne! [southern Sweden])
(( our dear friend Cartale lives there! ))
I absolutely love the way Poppy flowers look before they burst open!
So bright & red, and their green stems contrast the color of the petals beautifully : )
I was lucky enough to capture morning dewdrops upon the long hairs on the stem & bulb!
(the early morning light over the golden field in the background didn't hurt either) ;-)
As always, I hope you guys find something interesting or enjoyable here ☺
Thank you ALL for your lovely Comments, Faves & Support!
Appreciated beyond belief :-)
Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead dear friends!

This is a 590nm vertical panorama. The post processing was very time-consuming because the image is pushing the limits of the tiny 1/2.3" sensor.
First, 590nm brings out noise, and this one also had major issues with banding in one edit. That hasn't been a problem before. But I'm wondering if it is the 590nm filter. Maybe banding was just due to other editing extremes.
And then there were smudgy-sky panorama problems. I'm not sure, in the end, if I'm going to want my time back. I think each of the problems I had, despite a few re-starts, probably still shows a little bit in the final version.
But vertical panoramas don't seem that common here on Flickr, and it might be the largest I can ever share this image.
Favorite it before viewing any larger sizes! 😉
Also, this is how we learn, right?

The title shows my age. I believe that the "Park" has now been dropped from official titles of Sydney's famous Taronga Zoo. The word "taronga" means a "beautiful view" in the original aboriginal dialect. And how correctly it describes the location - surely one the most beautiful zoo settings in the world. As you can see in this collage wonderful views are obtained of the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.
