I am amazing at breaking down boxes and mashing them all in to one box; along with seperating paper, plastic, and garbage.
What we have here is a Gios compact pro frameset. Introduced in 1986 and still being produced, I guess we could consider it a time-proven design. This particular example was made in the late 90s. Finished in the classic Gios blue, this frame has held up quite well compared to the other neglected frames We've collected. Alas, it stills bears several paint chips and tarnished chrome, which couldn't get repaired without a respray. Unlike with the other frames, this Gios will be refinished in the same original Gios blue it sports at the moment, It would be a shame to mess with such a timeless colourway, wouldn't it? Well, we'll maybe add some paperthin luglining while we're at it.

Thought I'd experiment a little and make use of the 100mm for something other than toy portraits. The focusing on my 100mm is a little iffy, seems to do a lot of "searching". Focus locked in on the center but can't tell if it's just being fooled by the surface. Just some very minor retouching to erase some blemishes and to straighten it out.
