This is my new toy. A Pentax X-6 bridge camera (16mp). I bought it to use on those occasions when the dSLR stays home or for grab shots when i'm unable to change lenses quickly enough.
The compactor, purchased in 1998, was an investment expected to pay for itself within seven years with the savings it generates.

The MINITAUR is a compact table-top monophonic MIDI-and-CV-controllable analog bass synthesizer module with a 100% analog audio signal path, based on the design of the Taurus 3 bass synthesizer. The front panel features a knob-per-function design, for maximum real-time tweakability. There are no internally stored presets, but presets can be created and managed via MIDI.
Next halt- the Blood Compact Monument. This site tends to be rather nondescript thingy on the side of the road, with buildings on both sides and the open sea behind. Despite its supposed historical significance, there is not much hoo laa about it, it's just a bored place with a couple of trinkets sellers outside it. In 1969, British Leyland intended to upgrade the Mini to try and keep the style with the times, calling in once again Sir Alec Issigonis to design a compact and practical little car of the same lines. The idea was to give the car a front engine with front wheel drive and devote as much of the car's platform to passenger and luggage capacity. The car was also intended to be a hatchback for more practicality and would enter sales 5% cheaper than the current Mini of 1959.
The car was launched with a more angular design to fit the times, and powered by a new 9X 850cc engine and transmission. Hydrolastic suspension was considered, but changed instead to a more conventional front suspension with vertical struts and independent rear suspension with torsion bars.
The car, although providing more space internally than the original Mini, was unfortunately not forwarded by the British Leyland management, and thus only resulted in a single prototype. Unbeknownst to British Leyland, the car could have been a real winner, but instead the lucrative family hatchback market was swept out from underneath them by the likes of FIAT and Volkswagen.

Here’s the Compact Jenny knock off called “Slender Girl” who looks to share the same sculpt as Compact Jenny but with 5 points of articulation instead of gumby wire limbs. Weirdly enough she also has Jenny’s underwear molded on (which the Compact Jenny doesn’t have molded on).
She’s a pretty good match to the Figma Archetype knock off body but she’s gonna get her own body in the mail.
