the turtle wasnt too happy when i took this shot, it was hiding face inside the gap, we have to nudge it a bit to get it posed as we liked.
these started blooming last week and now they're really blooming...they are so tiny though I almost have to lie on my tummy to get this angle
In the foreground you see the new concrete and weathered steel structure that carries Business US-29 over the Roanoke River at Alta Vista, VA. In the background is the former Southern Railway (SR) bridge (now Norfolk Southern [NS]) which crosses the former Norfolk and Western (N&W, now NS) off to the right. The roadway is leading from English Park to the new expansion area beyond the bridges and is also part of a walking trail that leads to the northern part of Alta Vista.
The camera is still performing well, as I hoped it would.
Another awsome Sport Compact event at WSID.Loads of cars made the trek from all over Aus to compete.Almost capacity entries on the track & a great selection of hot cars on show.
The presentation standard of Sport Compact drag cars has really amazed me so far this year, with a lot of the top runner track cars looking like prestine show cars with candy pearl paint jobs,tastefull air brushing and graffix and tuff drag spec rims all round. these guys have definatly stepped it up a notch!
Took a whole lot of photo's throughout the day, but unfortunatly forgot my memory backup so was limited to 4G worth of space...Ahhhrr.
