Not bad from a moving bus, eh? When I took these, I had no idea how they would turn out. I was pretty darned happy when I pulled them up to look at them and edit them. There wasn't much to do - hooray for me!
Miles went to backup daycare in Cambridge today, so he commuted home with me. Unlike Miles, I do not generally have a dee-dee (blanket) or bag of bunny-shaped crackers on my commute.
Part of my current project of shooting my commuting views. This was taken through the windshield while sitting in traffic on the 55 freeway. Color then flipped to B/W in Lightroom and touched up in CS4.
This is one shot for my Commuting portfolio which grew out of my need to take pictures every day. Since I spend a few hours day behind the wheel, I decided to see what I could do with my D300/D60 and a 50mm lens (most of the time)
The only question here is do I keep the light pole or not? I'm inclined to remove it.

A few hasty phone snaps while on my new longer commute into work. Out of Sholing, down to Netley, and back along Weston Shore. 8 to 9 miles. Weather this week has been mixed!

It takes the right layering to make it bearable, but I think I've got it down for this winter. Frosty ride to the office this AM.
People that drove to work said that they had to scrape frost off their windshield for the first time. Here's the same spot, one month earlier.
