rode from south EAV, through Grant Park, to Loose Nuts to drop off bike, converted the Chariot to a stroller, walked home, took Otto out of the trailer, put him in the crib.
Still asleep 2 hours later! Not to mention he was dry as a whistle and snug as a bug!
Miles went to backup daycare in Cambridge today, so he commuted home with me. Unlike Miles, I do not generally have a dee-dee (blanket) or bag of bunny-shaped crackers on my commute.

Not bad from a moving bus, eh? When I took these, I had no idea how they would turn out. I was pretty darned happy when I pulled them up to look at them and edit them. There wasn't much to do - hooray for me!

The traffic frees up, the great north road sweeps ahead and the clouds gather. This can be the worst part of the journey, a straight, flat road, no landmarks, nothing much to see or do. I don't quite know why but this is my favourite bridge of the journey. Most are square, functional things but this has a sweep to it, an unnecessary Nike swoosh at the end of a perfectly dull, featureless and straight 10 mile stretch. When you're in the middle of your 2001st commute you reach for the smallest inconsequential things to occupy your mind and this bridge does it for me.
