Livvi’s Place Casey is on track for the grand opening in Marriott Waters, Lyndhurst.

On Friday, Aug. 6, 2021, PSEG Long Island held its third of six summertime food collection drives to help Island Harvest restock its shelves. Called “Power to Feed Long Island,” this initiative is aimed at raising the equivalent of 21,000 meals (for 2021). Dozens of Long Islanders dropped off non-perishable food items, pet food and personal care items at the collection site at Stop & Shop in Massapequa, donating hundreds of meals. Silicon Valley Chapter Executive Director Ken Toren and Board Chair Terry Unter attended on behalf of the chapter and region.

On 7/16/21 PSEG Long Island held the first of six food collection drives to help replenish the food supply at Island Harvest's warehouse. PSEG Long Island joins nearly a thousand organizations, companies, and individuals across the nation in recognition of National Energy Efficiency Day (EE Day) by announcing it has helped customers save more than 2.1 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity since Jan. 1, 2014.

 

An event was held on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021 (EE Day) to share information on rebates and incentives available for PSEG Long Island customers who go greener.

 

Helen Keller National Center (HKNC) participated in the PSEG Long Island Commercial Efficiency Program, receiving more than $85,000 in rebates for upgrading to efficient indoor and outdoor lighting. This has saved the organization an estimated 460,000 kWh in electricity and more than $73,500 per year. In addition, HKNC received a $38,995 rebate for installing a high efficiency “magnetic bearing centrifugal chiller,” used to provide comfort cooling to the facilities throughout the campus.

During the holiday season, PSEG Long Island employees collected and donated toys to distribe to children in the community, wrote out holiday greetings for neighbors on Long Islanders and in the Rockaways, and more.

YUMA, Ariz. – Yuma Free Clinic hosted its first Yuma Free Cup fundraiser at Gila Ridge High School June 22, 2013. The event pitted the Yuma All Star Spartans F.C., a mix of local high school athletes, against the Mexican 17U National Team. Hundreds of soccer fans from across the area attended the event. The Mexican 17U National team defeated the Yuma All Star Spartans 10 -1. Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit Yuma Free Clinic and enable the nonprofit to continue its mission of making free medical care available for low-income families that qualify.
