Fewer than 200 agencies hold the CAPRA accreditation, which is the only national accreditation of park and recreation agencies. CAPRA is a valuable measure of an agency’s overall quality of operation, management, and service to the community.

Gwinnett Parks and Recreation demonstrated compliance in more than 150 standards, policies, and procedures. Gwinnett received its CAPRA accreditation during the 2022 Annual Conference, joining the ranks of top park and recreation agencies across the country.
