Silver and Gold Area Team Sponsored Students participating in a city wide volunteer effort in Folsom,California. Our group was responsible for sorting donated LEGOS and packaging them up to be given to children who have experienced abuse.

Law Giant City Horse Stables

 

First year law students perform community service work at Giant City Horse Stables. Students painted and repaired some of the buildings on site.

 

Following a ceremony at Comcast Center on Friday August 28th (with speeches by Greig Stewart, Dr. Mote and Jody Olsen, former acting director of the Peace Corps), College Scholars broke into groups to perform community service for the day. One group helped the College Park Aviation Museum set up for its 100th anniversary party the following day.

During our community program, we also held a blood pressure screening station for adults.
