The signal station was originally set up by Fox and Company shipping agents (the same Fox family that owned Glendurgan). The station was to communicate, by semaphore, with vessels entering the English Channel to convey information as to the market conditions and where their owners wanted them to dock.

Further to my original posting it seem this Comms hubs has been upgraded.. It now contains a functional Fisher Price telephone, and several CB (citizens band) radio systems.. cutting edge. A fax machine soon maybe?

There is crisis!
Graduation thesis on visual communication; visual analysis of crisis in the shape of books. Four books, a poster, tarot cards: a vademecum with different visual aspects on perception of economical crisis in italy in 2008. newspapers, tv news, internet and adverts in comparison with people opinions, often divergent.
Mr. Sguigii is Malafamilia’s serigraphy project on paper. Malafamilia puts down the roots in artistic communication, and Mr. Sguigii is the natural evoution of it.
Communication is the main inspiration: each T-shirt is not only a product, but also a result of experimentation and application; each graphic is the finishing line of a long and detailed route, where stages are various and based on quality and capacity. Serigraphy expresses all this stuff perfectly and still can be considered an important art form, based on unicity and craftsmanship. In digital age, this is a really satisfying performance.
Printing is essential for communication, so it’s very important to understand its internal process in order to be able to appreciate its quality. To have Malafamilia and Mr. Sguigii’s products is to have unique, hand-made and ‘limited edition’ products…all against the mass/standardized ones. “Our final mission is to promote high-quality items at a very good price.”.
Frank Shepard Fairey, born in 1970, is an American contemporary artist, graphic designer and illustrator who emerged from the skateboarding scene; he can be considered one of today's best known and most influential street artists. This is his opinion about printing: “Printing means a lot to art. Someone said that it’s going to disappear, to be overcame by the digital one…But I think it won’t be possible to replace this fascinating, tactile experience. Street art and art galleries still stand. Sure as hell.”.

Encore une rencontre participative au service de la démocratie locale : Latitude a conseillé le format et réalisé l'animation d'un world café. Objectif : faire émerger des idées pour revitaliser le cours d'eau du Ziegelwasser qui traverse le quartier. Plus de cinquante personnes étaient présentes. Elles ont proposé ensemble beaucoup d'idées d'aménagement et d'animation des berges. Un groupe de travail en fera la synthèse pour faire des propositions à la municipalité.

This event took place in June 2015, in Enashipai, Naivasha, Kenya. It gathered demonstration project managers from all six IWRM AIO SIDS participating countries, as well as representatives of project implementing and executing UN agencies. The participants were trained on how to improve their communication skills. They also exchanged experiences with staffs in charge of similar projects in other regions of the world.
