Apologies for the quality of the audio on this - I've had to bodge this together. I made a slideshow using online software but I couldn't save it in a usable format, so instead I had to play it on the PC screen while filming it on my iphone.
It is somewhat self-indulgent, so apologies for that also, lol.
A collection of pictures from my first emergence, right through up to the end of July this year. Loads of different looks, outfits, places and people. Personally, I can't watch this without being reduced to joyful tears!
The music, 'This Is Me', from The Greatest Showman, is the perfect track and is somewhat of a trans anthem. Rightly so. As the lyrics go:
Look out 'cause here I come
And I'm marching on to the beat I drum
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apologies
This is me!

Our annual May Lincoln weekend and we had some company this time round.
We organised a meal at Ole Ole Tapas with a few friends - Alice, Isobel, Trisha and Cindy. We all walked up Steep Hill to get there but it was well worth the effort - the tapas at Ole Ole is amazing.
Aslo gave a first outing to my modified handbag. Many thanks to Gemma for helping with the wiring and advice for this - it looks amazing! I'm so pleased with it!
Comments & Faves are both appreciated, but if you'd comment after fav-ing, it would mean alot to me, beccause feedback means a little bit more to me than favourites. Thank you. :)
John Garret - Not too happy with him. I think the face looks okay, but the torso doesn't really work the face, IMO.
Deathtlok - Mixed feelings about this fig. I think the body works quite good, but I'm just not happy about the head.
(Agent) Grant Ward - I think he turned out really good. Based off his latest appearences.
(Agent) Phil Coulson - He's probably my favourite out of these guys. Not much else to say.
_
Well I finally got around to watching the Season Finale, and Man! It was awesome! So I thought I'd make a couple o' figs, just for the fun of it. If you like 'em, I might just make some more. :D
I also saw the Arrow Season finale, and I'll be posting some figs tomorrow for that, aswell.
Oh and before I forget: SUPPORT This! It's a great set, and I'd love to see it made into an official LEGO set!!
Leave your thought of the Seasin Finale down below, but please with a SPOILER WARNING at the beginning, for those who havn't seen it yet, Thanks. :D
Comments always appreciated, as long as you keep it clean - I love to hear your feedback! xx

Shot in May 2023 using 3D-printed wotsits (see 1st comment below) that allow using 35 mm film in a medium format camera, turning it into a sprocket rocket. It's rather pointless but also fun.
The statue to the Heiner was erected in 1995 in front of the "Goldene Krone", the only building (?) in the old quarter that survived the September 1944 bombing raid near-intact. It was built in 1681 and was a posh place before the war but now houses a rather dingy disco. I was taken there once in 1988 as sort of initiation rite (I was new to Darmstadt back then). I never went inside that place again and don't feel that I missed much. That just isn't my scene.
A Heiner is someone who was born in Darmstadt, lived there all his life and speaks the dialect. I don't qualify on all three counts.

....from a walk through Oxley Creek Common. Oxley Creek Common is home to a remarkable variety of birds. An experienced observer can find as many as 70 species in one hour of observation during the spring about 10% of all Australia's bird species and several times the diversity one could find walking the suburbs. In the past eleven years over 190 species have been recorded on the Common. (Source: University of Queensland)
Superb Fairy-wren
Scientific Name: Malurus cyaneus
Description: Adult male Superb Fairy-wrens are among the most brightly coloured of the species, especially during the breeding season. They have rich blue and black plumage above and on the throat. The belly is grey-white and the bill is black. Females and young birds are mostly brown above with a dull red-orange area around the eye and a brown bill. Females have a pale greenish gloss, absent in young birds, on the otherwise brown tail. The legs are brown in both sexes. Males from further inland and in the south-west of the range have more blue on the back and underparts.
Similar species: Several other species of fairy-wren are found in Australia. The males of each species are quite distinct, but the females and young birds are often difficult to separate. Of the species that overlap in range with the Superb Fairy-wren, the female White-winged Fairy-wren Malurus leucopterus and Red-backed Fairy-wren M. melanocephalus lacks the chestnut colour around the eye, while the female Variegated Fairy-wren M. lamberti has a dull grey-blue wash. Both the Superb and White-winged Fairy-wrens are similar in size. The Variegated Fairy-wren is slightly larger in size and has a longer tail.
Distribution: Superb Fairy-wrens are found south of the Tropic of Capricorn through eastern Australia and Tasmania to the south-eastern corner of South Australia.
Habitat: Seen in most habitat types where suitable dense cover and low shrubs occur. They are common in urban parks and gardens, and can be seen in small social groups. These groups normally consist of one dominant male and several females and young birds.
Feeding: Superb Fairy-wrens feed on insects and other small arthropods. These are caught mostly on the ground, but may also be taken from low bushes. Feeding takes place in small social groups.
Breeding: The nest is a dome-shaped structure of grasses and other fine material. It is usually placed in a low bush and is constructed by the female. The female incubates the eggs alone, but both sexes feed the young. Other members of the group will also help with the feeding of the young.
Male Superb Fairy-wrens have been labelled as 'the least faithful birds in the world'. Females may be courted by up to 13 males in half an hour, and 76% of young are sired by males from outside the social group.
Calls: The Superb Fairy-wren gives a series of high pitched trills, which are given by both sexes. The male often extends these trills into song.
Minimum Size: 13cm
Maximum Size: 14cm
Average size: 14cm
Average weight: 10g
Clutch Size: Three to four.

It is the possibilities that excites me about photography.
Regardless of the subject matter, the possibility to discover something creative or unique inspires me to no end.
I believe that regardless of the subject matter, landscape, people or other studies
the creative potentials are the same.
It is very exciting to live the moment discovering the possibilities.

Here is yet another image from the spectacular sunset I was fortunate enough to experience here in Weed, CA. I took this a few minutes before my previous upload when the sky reached its final burst of color before dissipating into the night. If you look to the right side of the image, you can see where my previous upload came from as the band of light grew stronger and stronger.
Thank you ALL for your support/comments/faves this week!! I greatly appreciate them! Hope you all have a great weekend and happy Friday!

This is a Douglas DC-3 (C-47 military version) used by the Israeli Airforce (IAF) for training paratroopers. The DC 3 was manufactured in Santa Monica, California, Long Beach, Califonia and Oklahoma City. This aircraft is currently being reconstructed by the current owner.Although it is on the apron adjacent to the Camarillo Museum the aircraft is not one that is owned by the C.A.F.
This is the only image in this set on which I did not use textured overlays. There is, however, also a textured version. If you like you can compare this original (a single RAW processed with PS CS-5 and Dynamic Photo HDR software and saved as a jpeg) with the earlier overlaid image. This is my favorite image in the series.
For those wanting the technical data as follows: The shot was hand held and taken with a Nikon d90, Tamron 18-270 lens at 32mm. Manual mode, manual focus. Exposure 1/640 of a second at f13, ISO 200 -4/3 E.V. No filters on the lens.
