Commando Marines with Senegal's Company Fusiliers Marine Commando unit patrol the hot dusty trail in Army base Center Training Tactics Zone 3, here, during Africa Partnership Station 2011. Most of these Senegalese Marines are new to the service and have joined their unit within the past three months. These Senegalese Marines are participating in Africa Partnership Station 2011, a U.S. Africa Command maritime security assistance program that is designed to strengthen participating nations’ maritime security capacity through multilateral collaboration and cross-border cooperation. Marine Corps Forces, Africa is supporting APS 11 with a security assistance force based out of Camp Lejeune, N.C.

As part of Exercise Talisman Sabre 2025, Royal Marine Commandos from 42 Commando have been training with their Australian counterparts in New South Wales.

 

UK Commando Force have been trading skills with partner forces on the ranges and a state-of-the-art close quarter battle training facility.

Saturday 12th October 2019, on a damp day, these amazing groups rose to the challenge to raise money for the Royal Marines Charity and the Devon Air Ambulance Trust.

 

The images are in the order taken, as I followed the obstacle part of the 5K Challenge and returned to the arena.

"Commando II" because this is my second Commando. The first was powered by a Magnum .15 engine, this one is electric and has gone through several motor iterations.
