Col. Jack Haefner assumed command of U.S. Army Garrison Red Cloud and Area I June 30, replacing Col. John M. Scott. Scott moves to a new assignment on the Pentagon Joint Staff as Chief of Staff of Joint Force Development (J7).
McAlester Army Ammunition Plant held a change of command ceremony on June 21, 2017. COL Sean M. Herron relinquished command to COL Joseph D. Blanding, who arrived in southeastern Oklahoma from the Joint Munitions Command, where he was the Chief of Staff. He is the 35th commander of the ammunition production facility that was commissioned as Naval Ammunition Depot, McAlester, on May 20, 1943, and the 18th commander since it was turned over to the U.S. Army. Aerospace Defense Command was a major command of the United States Air Forces, responsible for continental air defence. It was activated in 1968 and disbanded in 1980. Its predecessor, Air Defense Command, was established in 1946, briefly inactivated in 1950, reactivated in 1951, and then redesignated Aerospace rather than Air in 1968. Its mission was to provide air defense of the Continental United States (CONUS). It directly controlled all active measures, and was tasked to coordinate all passive means of air defense.

The Commander of the Canadian Army Change of Command ceremony took place on July 12th, 2024, at Salaberry Armoury in Gatineau, Québec.
Presided by General Wayne Eyre, Chief of the Defence Staff, the ceremony saw LGen Michael Wright assume his new position as Commander Canadian Army from LGen Jocelyn Paul. The ceremony included speeches, a performance by LGen Jocelyn Paul's family and the Ceremonial Guard, and the signing of the command scrolls.

Under the command of Kathryn Janeway, the USS Voyager stupidly pursued an enemy vessel through an unstable wormhole and ended up in the far side of the Milky Way with no easy way home. Instead they had to battle through the furthest reaches of the galaxy, through Borg occupied space, and come come up with ridiculous plot devices to explain how they could ever hope to succeed in returning to Earth.
BROCKTON, Mass. - Brig. Gen. Mitchell Chitwood and Command Sgt. Maj. Marcus Montoya recently visited Soldiers of the 3rd Legal Operations Detachment. While there, the leaders inspected supply and arms storage, plus held discussions with Soldiers on the priorities of the U.S. Army Reserve Legal Command.

Lt. Gen. Rick Lynch., Commander, Installation Management Command, will host a flag uncasing ceremony for the U.S. Army Installation Management Command Oct. 5, 2010 at 10 a.m. in San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Joseph W. Westphal, Under Secretary of the United States Army, will be the guest speaker.
The ceremony represents the presence of the installation management community and the assumption of the command's authority in San Antonio. The installation management community includes the U.S. Army Installation Management Command Headquarters and two major subordinate commands: U.S. Army Environmental Command and the Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Command.
IMCOM temporarily occupies leased space in northeastern San Antonio until the new IMCOM Headquarters Building on Fort Sam Houston is completed in October 2011.
Uncasing the flag exemplifies how IMCOM, headquartered in "Military City USA," is transforming to make Army installations the Army's Home.

Soldiers, Civilian employees and their Families took a break from their normal, busy work schedules to participate in team building activities and celebrate the recent transition of the IMCOM headquarters to San Antonio, Texas.
