Not sure if I like this or not, no real centre point of interest to catch the eye. All CC welcome. Taken this evening at Helen's Bay County Down.

A group of local Kashmiri children on an outing on Dal Lake, Srinagar.

Jammu & Kashmir is famous for its beautifully embroidered shawls, sarees, jackets etc. In this photo you can see a sample of these exhibited in the shops lining the banks of Dal Lake.

Dal is a freshwater lake and is integral to tourism and recreation in the Kashmir valley. It is also an important source for commercial operations in fishing and water plant harvesting. The shoreline of the lake, about 15.5 kms, is encompassed by a boulevard lined with several Mughal era gardens, parks, houseboats and hotels. The lake covers an area of 18 sq.kms and is part of a natural wetland which covers 21,1 sq.kms including floating gardens. The floating gardens, known as "Raad" in Kashmiri, blossom with lotus flowers during July and August.

With heartfelt and genuine thanks for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day, be well, keep your eyes open, appreciate the beauty surrounding you, enjoy creating, stay safe and laugh often! ❤️❤️❤️

When I looked at our front garden today, I was struck by the primary colours that filled the scene. None were intentionally planted for that purpose, but they all just happened to be out at once. Just out of view is a yellow African daisy adding to the effect, but I could not quite get it all in the shot with this long lens. However the yellow throat of this red sparaxis makes up for it. Unsure of the name of the blue flower in the bokeh. We planted it as a "sea" to surround an ornamental garden lighthouse!

The warm colours of Autumn captured at Mamhead Forest near Exeter, Devon.

Not knowing what you're looking at in a picture can sometimes be annoying. But if you look long enough you might see two circular ramps of a parking-garage around midnight. All artificial lit. The pink area's are illuminated by cars coming down the ramp. The blue parts are "normal" lit.

So, just shapes 'n' colours....

Enjoy!

Explored: 17.07.2019

I have been out and about with the camera in our local area but I still have many Yorkshire shots still to show.

The is Halnaker the tree tunnel, or to give it it`s correct name Stane street a Roman road of 57 Miles from London to Chichester it has been worn down by centuries of foot fall to form a hollow.

We thought that Autumn would have well and truly worked it`s magic here but I don`t think that is the case, yet, there are plenty of leaves on the ground which look lovely but the trees I think still have a way to go but we made the most of this amazing spot none the less.

Exposures can be difficult here with light through the tops of the trees but at ground level it can be quite dark especially this week when we have had no decent light at all, on a sunny day the contrast in light can be huge. So as to make sure I had covered myself I took two exposures for each shot, one standard exposure and one exposure two stops under so as to not over expose the light in the tree tops. In this case I used the under exposed shot and lifted the shadows, as for the colours I was a little underwhelmed so I have edited to taste, A few more to come from here plus a slightly misty windmill, we then made our way home stopping at Arundel for coffee and cake, yes..

Autumn on Grasmere, Lake District.

This is the petals of a fushia flower and is straight from the camera. Natures colours. !
