This young pizzaiola takes her break on this doorstep, not far from the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. There's a tourist frenzy rumbling around her, but she's sitting there quietly, living her life. And I see her, all contrasting colours. That's all it takes to create inverted colours.

Cliffside arctic plants in the arctic fall, Denmark Island, Scoresby Sund, East Greenland. In the treeless arctic the colour palette for most of the year is black and white with a hint of cyan from the snow and ice. But near the coast a variety of small plants grow on the rocky ground and provide a brief burst of colour in the fall.

Beautiful Autumn colours on one of my back garden shrubs! As pretty as it looks with the bright red berries, it does have thorns!

Crazy Tuesday Theme: 3 colours

or perhaps the colours are more autumnal ...

I know this is an abutilon, but I'm not sure which species it is.

The bright colours of the small plastic fence seem to intrude on the nature all around.

A small but deep hole has formed at the side of the footpath.

This path was once the trackway of the Norfolk and Suffolk joint railway line between North Walsham and the seaside town of Mundesley, about 17km.

The line was opened in 1898 and lasted until 1964.

The path is now known as the Paston Way.

Another shot taken at Duncton to show the Heather.

I would like to let everyone know that my website has now gone live.

Please swing by and take a look and give me some feed back.

I finally bit the bullet and decided to create the site to sell some of my work after losing my job. Whilst I am aware that I will never make a living from it as there are far to many people better than me who can make beautiful photography it would be nice to think that people like what I do.

Please take a look and share the site if you can.

Many thanks to all the people that have stuck with me over the years.
