Glorious autumnal colours taken at Stourhead. The famous Tulip tree was so vibrant that it almost appeared to be on fire.

A big fly on a flower in a Barrhead garden.

Flamboyant colours of some flowers in my garden. They do clash a bit don't they? The Penstemon was planted there because It was very poorly and didn't look like it was going to survive, I just wanted to give it another chance.

People's Association community groups painted the Foo Dogs lanterns known as Chinese stone lions to celebrate the Year of the Dog during the Chinese New Year 2018 Festival at the Gardens by the Bay.

This autumn has highlighted some interesting colour combinations. I took this a while ago but was hoping for better weather as it was a very grey day. Unfortunately the leaves have now gone so I'll have to wait for another year for better light. It was the colours that caught my eye. In the foreground is a Rowan tree but I don't think it is the usual variety as the berries were quite orange rather than red, I think the leaf colour is different too. Behind the Rowan is a Common Ash which has gone a rather bright yellow (I've never seen so many yellow Ash trees previously). The next one is an ornamental Cherry, it too has gone an interesting colour. I'm sure that whoever planted these did not think of their autumn colours.

Just given the saturation a bit of a boost otherwise its sooc with a little crop.
