It was raining on and off all day but it did help bring out the colours and a rainbow.....

Cape Breton's Cabot Trail (Nova Scotia): This 300km (186-mile) loop through the uplands of Cape Breton Highlands National Park is a world-class excursion. You'll see Acadian fishing ports, pristine valleys, and some of the most picturesque coastline anywhere.

I couldn't help but notice the lovely bright and shiny metallic colours of these parked cars. The sunset behind the trees helped to emphasize these colourful cars.

I love the colours, set-up, textures, euuuhh, everything!

Just some fun with pencils/props and lights in the studio, always the same... one idea sparks off another...

I love being a creative, it is the spice of (my) life. I cannot imagine 'not' having it...

I used recycled pencils for this image. I cannot resist the, spotted a funky rubber to go with them, made the composition in my head, right there!

So colourful and attractive? The child in me. I still LOVE to write in pencil, it brings out my best handwriting!

Hope this makes you smile and have a wonderful day and thank you, as always, for your visit, so very much appreciated, Magda, (*_*)

Took a drive to Tullymore Forest Park today and after spending most of the afternoon there I managed to capture this shot of Foley's Bridge.

I love the colour and the position of the leaves as it draws your eyes to the bridge.

Great catching up with Khosrow & Some of the members of the Newcastle Sundance Group for this amazing sunset.

Today has been dreary, overcast and drizzling, so this is something to brighten everyone's day.

The past will remind us

Our colours we chose

Some people say

that the way that we live

Is out of this place

And some people say

that the way that we live

Is blinded by fate

But I know

All colours we chose

Purmamarca is a small village on top of the mountains in Jujuy, north of Argentina. In Aymara it means the city of the desert

With centuries of history is a peacefull village with less than a 1000 inhabitants in the middle of the Andes Mountain. A couple of years ago it was named a World Heritage site and it became really popular.

The most interesting thing to do is walk this street because at the end is the famous Seven Colours Hills.

Yea Celtic Colours. It's time to escape to evenings of great traditional music, hikes around glorious trails and beautiful sunsets over sandy beaches...but will miss Flickr.

It would be nice if Flickronians had Flickr hats to help recognize one another. I'll bet there will be others shooting the glorious scenes there!

taken with the wonderful 50mm 1.2

I came across this colourful scene on the streets of Mumbai.

This photo was taken in the valley that joins Carcross and Whitehorse in southern Yukon. The fall colours are definitely here, and the landscape is beautiful!

This photo is actually a photo-stacked image created by merging three tone mapped images together in Photoshop. Each of the tone-mapped images were themselves merged from three additional images taken over a range of plus and minus 2 f-stops. My Canon EOS R was mounted to a Jobu Designs tripod with an Acratech ballhead. In addition, I employed a PolarPro ND1000 filter and a circular polariser to each of the original shots.

It was a windy day so some of the leaves and trees show the blurring that accompanies movement during a long exposure. This was a part of the effect that I was looking for. I wanted to replicate, as closely as possible, the scene as I saw it, while imparting a little bit of the dynamic to really communicate the living beauty of the natural world that I was witnessing first hand.

I hope you like the result.
